Came here for dinner and drinks so delicious and best value for money of any Italian in leeds. Would recommend to anyone, especially students as BYOB saves you so much! Thanks for an amazing meal xx

Excellent experience at La Besi! My friends and I had pasta and garlic bread, the food was great with generous portion sizes and really well priced. BYOB is an added bonus. The waiters were also super friendly, will definitely be going back here x

My daughter and I were searching for a place to eat before a concert at The Stylus and stumbled upon La Besi. The waiter was friendly and the food turned out to be unexpectedly delicious and reasonably priced. The restaurant could use some renovations, but it has a certain charm to it.

I went to this restaurant for lunch and found the lunch special to be fantastic. The pizza was freshly made in the traditional Italian style and tasted delicious, although there was perhaps a bit too much cheese. The ambiance was more functional, resembling a diner rather than a restaurant, which suited lunchtime perfectly but may not be as appealing for dinner.

We have visited this restaurant several times in the past but this time I ordered a meal for delivery for my husband and I. I ordered the pasta and steak in a tomato and chilli sauce, which was delicious. My husband ordered the steak. There was a mistake made by the restaurant with his order but as soon as my husband called them they immediately sent him another meal. His meal was also delicious. Both meals arrived piping hot. The staff on the phone and the delivery man were both very polite and friendly. We will definitely visit/ order from here again.

I had previously given la besi a glowing review, but my recent experiences have been disappointing. The last two times we ordered, the food was subpar. My husband found the linguine bolognese to be bland with hardly any bolognese, and my carbonara was also lacking flavor and missing the advertised parmesan cheese. When we ordered pizzas, my chicken and mushroom pizza had very little tomato sauce and scarce chicken, while my husband received the wrong calzone initially. Although they promptly delivered the correct order after our complaint, the calzone was disappointing with minimal filling. This decline in quality is not consistent with our past experiences.
