"I have already eaten at La Boussole several times and a review is well deserved. If you want to discover refined cuisine in a magnificent area of the 6ème arrondissement, look no further. Here you will find traditional French dishes and Asian fusion dishes that make sense. To start, I had baked camembert, nems, and onion soup with cheese. Everything cooked to perfection; My favorite is the melted camembert that I ate with bread. For the main dishes I had The tiger qui pleur , The beef bo bun, The chicken couscous, The duck breast and The salmon Tataki. They were all perfect, but I really like the salmon dish, which is cooked to perfection and served over vegetables; something in the sauce enhances it. Of course I had to have wine with dinner; The wine selection is very good, I saw on the menu that they also have good champagne. I also had a cocktail, a Saint Germain Spritz that was really good (it tastes like lychee, if you know it, you know it). To top it off, the dessert options are to die for. My favorite would be the pistachio tiramisu and the lemon dessert. I also tried the crème brûlée, the chocolate cupcake and the gourmet coffee which is a dessert sampler. I like their formulas which are reasonably priced. I highly recommend this place, and if you dine there, the surrounding area is usually quite lively, so you can always continue the party afterwards.
