"I went there with a colleague, and the restaurant fits most occasions. We were warmly welcomed. It's a comfortable atmosphere, neither uptight nor too relaxed. We sat at a long wooden table in the back of the restaurant, on long wooden benches.Appetizers were good: chocolate base with asparagus foam topped with herbs. The fresh asparagus happened to be laying on a tray on one side of the table.First course: pâté and rillettes. It was good. Interesting that they baked the pâté in a bone. I think the rillettes lacked a bit of taste. Also, it missed some more acidity from pickles. There were come pickled "peppers", but it did not do the job well enough for me.Main course was lamb shoulders with aubergines. The lamb smelled fantastic, melted under the fork and tasted great. It was seared, cooked in broth and roasted int the over for several hours. At that point, the local coffee roaster came to deliver some beans the the restaurant. We started talking and he naturally sat with us for a while, drinking a glass of white wine. I really enjoyed the conversation. At that point we had also tasted great red wine. Lots of character. For desert: 1) biscuits, mascarpone and strawberries. It tasted good2) crème de chocolat au lait, confit oranges. Amazing! The cream/mousse was incredibly light. I was blown away by that dish.Espresso coffee was nice. A bit long. The chef moved to France ten years ago from Japan to learn French cuisine. She's delivering great food, and gladly answered questions. She's create and change the menu very often, depending on arrivals. The staff was very nice, we had a great time. I will go back as soon and I'm around there again."
