Ieri sera ho avuto un pasto incredibile presso La Cucina Di Donna Carmela. Il cibo era di altissimo livello, ma ciò che ha davvero reso l'esperienza eccezionale è stato il vino. Ho degustato abbinamenti di vino in tutto il mondo e in molti ristoranti a 2 e 3 stelle Michelin, ma non ho mai vissuto un'esperienza così straordinaria. Il sommelier, Gianluca Canuti, era estremamente competente e appassionato di vino. Mi ha fatto alcune domande per conoscere le mie preferenze e poi siamo partiti per un viaggio straordinario. From the moment we arrived the staff was incredibly welcoming. Everything was perfect as you’d expect from a restaurant of this caliber. All the different courses were very well balanced with flavours, with the amouse bouche taking inspiration from a cinnamon roll, making it savoury. The cheese, onion, and tomato ‘pizza’ was very soft and balanced, My favourite courses were the veal fillet, with soft meat and flavourful sauce, served with some bread; and the red prawn ‘bottoni’ filled with stracciatella and a zucchini sauce.
