Had breakfast here while staying at the hotel in 2015 and 2016. On both occasions food was tip top. The waiting staff are extremely friendly and not at all stuffy as you will find in some hotels. The lunch and wine service at the O Terrasse is exemplary.

Ideal place to have a romantic dinner or a family gathering, ghe place offers all you wish from wonderful "filets de perche" to "foie de canard poêlé", divine lamb and superb deserts. A relaxing leisurely lunch with some of the best Foie Gras we have tasted and our selection from the menu with some excellent Swiss wine. Excellent waiter who engaged with us in perfect English and made us very welcome guests.The meal was rated excellent because in terms of view, comfort, quality of wine food and hospitality it could not have been improved.

I have tried the Beau Rivage's various eating establishments (Cafe / Terrasse / Banquet Hall / Restaurant / Japanese) on various occasions - for dinner, a banquet, brunch and coffee.While the building and the view never fail to wow, the food ranges from average (like an ordinary eatery) to very poor indeed. The service is always far below par - ranging from outright confused to snobbish to just plain indifferent. On one occasion, we were served our food, which was then taken away and re-served totally cold - with each person's plate having sat in front of someone else (and possibly touched) for 5 - 10 mins !An a la carte meal here can easily cost 150 F per head and usually much more.This hot...
