"Meine Frau und ich haben uns heute Nachmittag spontan entschieden in den Hirschen das Abendessen zu geniessen. Das macht ja Sinn! Kein Kochen und kein aufräumen. Einfach hinsetzen und bestellen. Sicherheitshalber haben wir noch schnell im Internet um 13.00h reserviert. Da wir nicht den ganzen Abend im Lokal verbringen wollten haben wir den Start auf 18.30h gesetzt. Dann ist man bei den ersten Gästen und alles geht sehr schnell. Damit meine ich nicht, dass es später langsamer ist, aber die lieber gerne langsamen Gänge für Gang geniessen haben ja auch mehr Zeit als „Spontis“. Nun, eigentlich wollte ich lieber was mi Pommes usw. aber weil die Wildsaison schon bald vorüber ist und man im Hirschen Freiämter Wild bekommt, habe ich nochmals auf die Wildkarte gesetzt. Zur Vorspeise einen gemischten Salat, ein Rindstartar, zur Hauptspeise vegetarischer Wildteller und Rehrückensteaks an Holundersauce mit dem natürlich üblichen, wie Rotkraut, Rösliköhl, Maroni Apfel mit Preiselbeeren, Birnen im Wein und natürlich gebratene Spätzli. Nun, uns hat alles sehr gut geschmeckt. Die vier Rehrückensteaks waren bestimmt 350-400g! Das für nur CHF 42.50! Es war fast zu viel für mich. Ich musste wirklich kämpfen. Aber ich habe alles sauber aufgegessen, wie zu Hause gelernt in einer Nachkriegsgeneration. Dessert lag nicht mehr drin – zu voll war der Magen. Aber in den Hirschen muss man immer wieder gehen, weil er eben gut ist."

"the restaurant linde in büttikon, is located in a very beautiful location, at the village entrance, at the main road from a pleasant to büttikon, the restaurant, beautifully furnished, with great view over the free area to the albis chain, offers a very good kitchen with regional offer. prices are more than reasonable. the kitchen makes a great job and offers the hospitable an excellent eating on the table. the service was shr attentive and never intrusive, has also advised us very well. we had unfortunately the bad news that on this Saturday evening, a thundering over the aargau was sweeping, which unfortunately gave us pleasure to feed on the wonderful terrace.The menuecard is clear and not very big, but that is exactly what the guest wishes. a manageable map with seasonal products coming from the region.The wine map offers a quite large selection of very good drops from all over the world. we will like to visit this locally again because it is a reasonable price policy a very good kitchen with a beautiful ambiente and friendly staff also affordable."

"Herzlichen Dank an das Volare-Team, dass wir trotz coronabedingter Schliessung der Restaurants ein fantastisches italienisches Essen zu Hause geniessen durften! Bestellung ist u.a. online über ein super gestaltete und bedienerfreundliche Homepage möglich. Das Essen war zum vereinbarten Zeitpunkt bereit. Die Pizzas waren reich belegt, die Lasagne hausgemacht und sehr fein und das Tirami su sehr lecker. Das war bestimmt nicht unsere letzte Bestellung! Sehr zu empfehlen!"

"Dinner at Niesenberg was the highlight of our short trip to Switzerland.The owner of the B&B we stayed at recommended this restaurant to us and without any expectations, we thought we’d give it a try. What a fantastic surprise it was: first of all the building itself is beautiful, traditional, cosy and very romantic. Service from our Dutch waiter was excellent and as professional as you’d find in a 5-star hotel. He recommended a fantastic Portuguese red wine which we’ll certainly try and get a hold of for our cellar at home. Then, the food, which was truly exquisite. They have set menus that sounded very tempting, but we opted to go for an à la carte main instead. They’re on the expensive side and we paid CHF 40 and CHF 50 for ours, but the portions are generous and I cannot remember when last I had such a well cooked and delicious piece of venison, with probably one of the best sauces I’ve ever tried. I would go back purely for this dish! My husband ordered the horse steak which was equally fantastic, and both dishes were served with excellent homemade sides (vegetables and croquettes). To finish off, we ordered the crème brûlée, which was the only dessert available that evening, and a small cheese plate. Although they were both very good, the standouts of the evening were the main courses. All in all we had nothing short of a perfect evening. Not cheap, but money well spent."

"We reserved a table by phone and first had an aperitif downstairs in the bar. When we asked at the restaurant on time for our reserved table in the winter garden, the waiter said everything was fully booked. Only in the large hall in the middle of the people and it was very loud would there be another table. No apologies, nothing...Thanks, that was the first and last time"
