"If like us you wandered into Saanen at tea time and were looking for a place to eat, options are very limited. Landhaus hotel has a restaurant and it was busy. We did not book a table but were able to get one for us. If like us you are looking for vegetarian options, this is really not a place for you. In the menu there is just one option which is macaroni with cheese and apples. It appears the staff especially senior staff need some training to be welcoming. Junior staff were better. The concept of tap water does not seem to exist in this part of Switzerland. We were charged 7.50 franks for basically tap water in a jug. Overall our experience was not great especially we were made to feel not welcome. It is unfortunate that a hotel so well located in the centre of a village that depends on Tourism can have staff who can be rude to visitors who are coming to your village and spending their money to help your economy."

Sehr nettes Personal. Obschon es ziemlich voll war, haben wir unser Essen schnell erhalten. Das Rindstartar ist zu empfehlen.

A traditional restaurant in the center of Saanen. Lots of real Swiss dishes, well prepared and tasty. The cheese fondue was fine. Slightly nonchalant service.

Great mountain restaurant, with typical Swiss food and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Ps: You have to take the best fries to recommend. Stayed in the hotel for 1 week, very clean and comfortable, service was great!

A typical Swiss restaurant that unfortunately did not meet my expectations of Swiss quality. Rösti tasted dry, as if they were not freshly prepared but warmed up. Burnt onions. With the Pinsa, the ratio of dough to topping was unbalanced, so it was a bit dry. The worst experience, however, was the service. When we asked if we could have some sauce with the rösti, we reluctantly accepted. But the sauce never came, the rösti got cold, and the waiter then deliberately ignored our table. At the end there was a pro forma apology saying that unfortunately he had forgotten. At least, in fairness, the bill was reduced somewhat in the end. But that's not enough to make you want to come back or recomm...
