"Unfortunately none of the staff spoke German, despite the proximity to the German-speaking part of the Gstaad region. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is great. Away from the hustle and bustle and yet in just under 10 minutes on foot in the village/train station. Our junior suite was beautifully designed with lots of wood, a Nespresso machine and a fireplace! We really enjoyed the view of the mountains from the balcony. The breakfast was ok. We had dinner at the hotel twice. Once in le roc and once in the bar. We were thrilled both times! We'd love to come back! Nearby activities: Many mountain railways for hiking Noteworthy details: Spacious garage with charging stations for electric cars Rooms: 5 Service: 4 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Great view, Romantic, Quiet"

Le repas n'était de loin pas à la hauteur d'un 4*+.Les plats peu goûteux, mauvaise association des goûts et mauvaises cuissons des viandes et poissons.L'hôtel quand à lui est très correct, très propre et moderne... Mais rien d'extraordinaire..Je n'y retournerais pas!

Design wohlfühl Hotel Chalet) mit schöner Bar und Cheminée. Top ausgestattete Zimmer Suite)mit exzellenten Betten, Terrasse mit Bergblick... Spa Bereich etwas klein aber gemütlich der Boden könnte unter den Liegen sauberer sein). Frühstück qualitativ gut. A la Carte Essen im Restaurant“ au Roc“ sensationell ! Der Chef Koch Edgard Bovier führt hier Regie! Schönen Aufenthalt gehabt.

Im Rahmen unseres Aufenthaltes im Hotel de Rougemont haben wir ein Nachtessen im Le Roc genossen. Und Genuss ist das Stichwort. Sämtliche Speisen war sehr lecker und frisch (als Vorspeise Salat Belle Napolitaine und Vitello Tonnato, als Hauptspeise das Entrecote und Beefsteack Tartar). Très joli hôtel récemment ouvert mais avec un personnel qui ne correspond pas à un hôtel de cette catégorie. Personnel jeune mais sans formation qui ne parle pas anglais et donc qui ne comprend pas les commandes ! Petit-déjeuner servi en chambre qui ne correspondait pas du tout à ce qui avait été commandé ! Qualité des mets au restaurant TRÈS moyenne. Cuisinier belge ! A améliorer absolument ! Dommage pour cette expérience ratée !

Ma sœur et moi avons passés une excellente journée à l hôtel Rougemont. Une véritable surprise! Un cadre féerique , une chambre impeccable , sublime . L hôtel est cosy, décoré avec goût. Nous nous sommes sentis comme à la maison. Le personnel est exceptionnel, des personnes aimables et professionnelles ils sont accueillants aux petits soins . Ils nous ont fait nous sentir à l aise , nous les remercions pour leurs acceuils et nous reviendrons c est sûr et certains. Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5

"I was about to put a review about how rude were both the owner and his partner that I bumped into the review of another customer that I will copy below. It fully expresses my feelings. The only difference with it is that we went for lunch and they went for dinner. The arrogance of the owners was incredible: As usual, our family decided to have dinner at the Sonnenhof in August. We booked our table a few days in advance and arrived promptly at 7:30pm. To our great surprise, the restaurant terrace was packed full with many extra tables improvised left and right. It took the waitress 20 minutes to come to our table. While the first course arrived within 40 minutes, the main course was taking forever. When we eventually complained at 9:30pm, the spouse of the owner gave us an arrogant answer that they were full and had over 100 servings etc. We were somewhat surprised by the tone, when a simple short apology would have been sufficient, but that was too much too ask. Later, when we paid our bill, we tried to explain again that the service was slow, we were told that “our guests accept this”. Some 30 minutes later, around 22:30, the restaurant owner called us. Hoping that finally he found some common sense, he continued his wife‘s arrogant attitude and again was not able to apologise for the quality of the service, epitomizing the arrogance of this establishment. This is the last time we will be visiting this restaurant after some 30 years. Some people wonder if the Saanenland has lost its soul, well it looks like the Sonnenhof has . Their success made them lose sight of the importance of being kind to clients. I don 't think they will change their attitude as long as their restaurant will be full. That 's a pity."
