The salade to thai au boeuf was very tasty. on a busy (jazz) night the two waiters had the job of 4, but good value and had a good evening.

After enjoying a walk around town we stopped here for lunch. They have a selection of salads, crepes and other light food selections. I tried the goats cheese salad and it was delicious.

Fortunately, this place was just opening as we completed our long and steep climb. Food was simple, but well executed - who can resist a lightly-battered aubergine or courgette? Waiting staff were friendly, prices very reasonable, do visit! Visualizza piatti

Located on the main square with views of the mountains. We had a nice brunch and wine. I had the omelette which they actually made well done like I requested (hard to get in France) and my husband had an excellent special of the day potato and cheese and ham Au gratin. The server/owner was sweet and friendly.

On a baking hot day having climbed up to Le Haute Cagnes this watering hole proved just the job. Light tasty salads and tempura vegetables, superb chips and local ice cold rose. Spot on. Very popular but service good and waiter extreme pleasant. And to cap it all great value for money. Thank you for a lovely lunch.

We ate here several times, and were never disappointed. The management make it clear that they do not do fast food as all meals are prepared to order, but we never had to waoi for long - just get some wine or beer and let it take its course. "Wait ten minutes and the sun will move round to your table" the friendly waiter assured us. How right he was. We would have eaten almost anything to sit in the sun on a terrace with that splendid view up to the hills just metres away. But in fact the food was nicely cooked (it's very easy to overdo scallops but these were perfect), the presentation a little better than the average bistro, and the waiter attentive without being pushy (and spoke good English). House white nothing special ...

We had a great time here! Great people watching by the castle and beautiful, stunning views. We arrived late and they had run out of chicken so my wife had the Pad Thai sans chicken and said it was still good. I had the ribs and they tasted good but there was little meat so I really had to pick them clean to get any real amount of meat. I still enjoyed them though. We had a couple of half litres of wine and sat and watched the world go by for probably close to 2 hours. Total bill was only $ 38.90 euro. We would definitely recommend!

What can I say stop there for a drink and then decided with my girlfriend to stay for lunch, she went for "saumon en papillote" and I went for the tournedos we waited for a good 40 minutes, my meat was medium rare ordered , when it arrived "saumon en papillote" not impressed at all,poor garnish ,quickly dressed on plate with no passion , you are in France you are expecting to be amazed..... my tournedos finally on the table first cut meat was tough , chewy , uneatable , and I'm not exaggerating , pointed very discreetly to the waitress who came back after couples of minutes and said the chef tried and the meat quality is perfect, It's wasn't believe me, ok fair enough I should go for the goa...
