"Freshly renovated building, spacious restaurant with plenty of space between the tables. This is rare and very appreciated on a busy Saturday night. The welcome is good, personal and friendly. The lady who welcomes us also serves in the restaurant. The tables are beautiful, with... good quality silverware and Coton napkins. Everything looks and feels very new and fresh as the restaurant was opened six months ago. The menu is limited to a few set menus and some à la carte elements, suggesting that the kitchen staff is limited. Everything is quite simple, and the ingredients are usually local. Dessert options are served in a large trolley. Wine is served by glass, bottle or half bottle (37,5 cm). Drinking water is served free of charge. We enjoyed the menu of our choice, which was served on properly preheated dishes. The amount on the plate was largely sufficient for a 4-speed dinner. The setting of the dishes on the plates was modern. Obviously, some of the cold courses were prepared in advance, which remained a little dry. Local cheeses are served in convenient portions, with a selection of bread. It would have been nice to have something Tangy to go with it, like some grapes or a Chutney. Dessert is excellent, with a wide selection of homemade cakes and mousses. We chose Café Gourmand, which is basically a cup of good espresso with five miniature desserts. All in all a very satisfying experience. Good food at a good price, toilet facilities are spacious and clean, good and free private parking."
