since 25 years in london. I think this is a part of the best Spanish cuisine I had here. great service, everything so fresh. what is not to like?!

Very good and tasty dishes along with good speed of service and presentation. The menù is plenty of gluten-free options and the staff is aware of allergies. Will come back.

Again, after visiting last night, a great experience. Perhaps, we have ordered too much food but it was all great. The service, fantastic, well looked after by all the staff. It is just a shame that living in reading, is a pain to get there...because otherwise, i would be eating there way more often. The jamon croquetas were spot on, so was the Tortilla and the calamares. 10 ot of 10!!!

As a person that grew up in Spain I always have trouble finding Spanish restaurants were the food taste like home. I was happily surprised of how amazing everything tasted here. Proper homemade and with an amazing flavour. From the croquetas, chorizo, to the lamb stew ... Hands off the best Spanish food I ever tried in UK so far. The place is lovely and the people very friendly. I can't recommend this place enough (I wish I could give more starts).

This place is always a treat, and worth the travel. Great atmosphere especially whilst they are successfully managing covid restrictions as best as possible to avoid any inconvenience to the enjoyment of having a meal out. The food and service was excellent, a smaller than...normal menu, but that was fine and perfectly acceptable. The food was very tasty and authentic. a month after my vacation to Spain I have eaten some good tapas and tortilla, thanks to laxeiro is just a few minutes away from home. the food was as good as I was in Spain and the tortilla was even better, incredibly light and made a lot of space for the other plates. patatas bravas were beautiful and tangig, garnel were very fresh and we had even space for dessert! the restaurant itself is quite small but has a very relaxed, friendly atmosphere and you can even see the legendary cat sitting on the car outside!

Visited this week for first time in a year Mandekic was not as it was when the owner ran the place. We booked online with a proviso that if we didn’t show there would be a charge which is fair enough. What we didn’t know...was that 1/2 hr before you will get a msg to say you have 1 1/2 hrs to eat your food! ; 1 hr into the meal people were waiting on our table outside and at 1hr 25 we were presented with our bill. No rush!!! One course was forgotten off the order and everything felt so rushed that it’s difficult to recommend this place anymore especially as so maybe new good places opened nearby in the last year. Hopefully others have a more memorable visit.

this is my new favorite restaurant in london. it was recommended to me by family friends who had come to Laxiero over 20 years ago. the fact that you are still standing after so many years, testifies to the popularity and quality of eating here I came on a Sunday, which I would not recommend as every Sunday host of the columbia road flower market, which means that the place is wounded and they will have to wait for a table without doubt. that besides eating in laxeiro is worth it. they offer a series of authentic tapas as well as individual pallela’s that they order.
