"Nothing fancy or pretentious here. Simply some of the best food in France. We started with gougéres which were light, tender, and oh, so good. Next was a soup made from puréed lentils, also excellent. Both of our plats were served on a bed of puréed carrots and accompanied by wonderful ratatouille. Chicken Gaston Gerard was quite tasty, but the piéce de résistance was the boeuf Bourguinon, so perfectly cooked and with such flavor that I can not believe that I will ever taste a better one. The lunch portions were just right, although I could have happily eaten the boeuf until I exploded. Small but adequate wine list. Highly recommend this charming little place just off of the Place de la Libération."

Nous avons trouvé ce restaurant grâce aux très bons commentaires. C'est vrai : le repas fut excellent et le couple très chaleureux. Nous avons discuté longuement avec le chef en fin de service. Côté assiettes, nous avons pu déguster les escargots et œufs à l'epoisse, le poulet Gaston Gérard et le bœuf bourguignon ainsi que la tatin revisitée. Nous nous sommes régalés ! Tout est délicieux et fait maison. On a adoré ce petit restaurant très bon et peu cher au vu de la qualité. Entrée, plat et dessert à 35 euros.
