"We booked the Auberge de la Selune for dinner after a great recommendation by our host, the Count at Chateau de Boucéel. While not very impressive looking from the outside (even though Ducey is super charming!), the inside of the restaurant which has a B&B above it, is inviting and cozy, as is their terrace. Not your usual intimidating fine dining restaurant, more like a family run place, and we love it!We were greeted by a very kind and sweet sommelier, ordered the Cocktail de Maison, a green cocktail with Blue Curaçao and other things I don't remember :) After little deliberation (we had checked the menu ahead of time on their website), we chose for the menu with AOC Saint-Michel Pré-Salé Lamb, and a nice red Bordeaux. The chef sent us a treat entrée comprised of a Croustacean souflée, bits of raw salmon and ricotta. The salmon and ricotta were great, but the souflée wasn't really our cup of tea, with a very strong seafood taste. Our second appetizer was a (single) cooked baby potato, with white truffle slices and a parmesan foam. This was really delicious, but left us wanting more of it, I wish at least 2 potatoes were served - then again it's an appetizer, so it makes sense.Warm bread was served in between meals, but no butter. What the hell do French people have against putting butter on bread? I will have to ask my French friends someday. Our main course was simply divine. A slice of lamb that was so good even my wife, which never liked lamb in her entire life, really appreciated it. Perfectly cooked, light pink in color, very moist and wonderfully light tasting. Along with the lamb, came a croquet made of pulled lamb meat, I imagine from a rack of ribs. That one was stronger tasting, and we didn't appreciate it as much, but it was still good. We also had a lovely mashed carrot and peanuts puree and roasted shallots on the side, and the lamb came with a delicious brown sauce. After the main course, we were served greens with mustard seeds and some dressing, and could choose between about 10 different Normandy cheeses, all of which looked absolutely fabulous. The surprise here were the greens, fresh from local producers. I've never eaten a better salad in my life, in no small part due to the great Normandy cheeses. I absolutely recommend any goat cheese they offer, along with harder cheeses - the raw milk soft cheeses are very strong and are definitely not for everyone, especially the Pont-l'Évêque.After that we were served dessert. My wife chose a dessert based on apples, encased in white chocolate, it's the white ball you can see on the photos here on TripAdvisor. I went for a lemon sorbet, both desserts were really good. Both our waiter and the sommellier checked several times on us, poured our wine, and were very kind, friendly and polite - it's definitely the best service we've ever had in France!I recommend this restaurant wholeheartedly, the Chef delivers the goods on the price, which is the same as your average restaurant in France, and in this case, worth every euro cent."
