"My wife and I visited Le Keller on May 6, 2017 and had reserved the tasting menu for both of us. I did not realize when I had initially made the reservation that this was a hotel restaurant, but the setting was extremely cozy and intimate. Our meals consisted of 5 courses, plus complimentary champagne and coffee/tea. The first course was traditionally French (escargot) with delicious (and large) fresh asparagus, which was then seasoned with a garnish sauce tableside. The second course was a salmon done 2 ways - one in a sort of sashimi style, the other tempura. These were also garnished with sauces and served with a variety of accompanying vegetables, topped with caviar. The third course (which we had forgotten about until it came out), was a ravioli served in a champagne cream sauce - it was definitely unique. The fourth course was the main, in which we were given the opportunity to select from a couple of different options. My wife had the duck breast, which was absolutely delicious, while I tried monkfish (if you have never had it before, it is a very unique fish which has a distinct strong whitefish flavor, but is not flaky). The final course was dessert, which was sort of a filled cream puff with passion fruit ice cream/gelato, cream, and topped with a garnish of carmelized sugar. Our waiter was extremely attentive and friendly, and did describe each course to us prior to leaving us to enjoy it. What impressed us more was the service of the wait staff to the table next to us, which had two hearing and/or vocally impaired individuals. The staff walked through the menu with them, conversed in writing as needed, and did a great job of making the couple feel welcome and enjoy their meal just as much as we enjoyed ours. Our wines were superb. The meal was pricey, but we knew that going in (89 euro a person for the tasting menu + champagne and coffee, wine was extra). The meal was typically French leisurely - about 3 hours long, but it was well worth it. It set us up for a great week in France!"
