"We visited The Lemon Tree as a party of 25 for a memorial meal for my mum. What could have been a very sombre occasion turned out to be a very good meal. The staff were there to help with anything, responded to emails within the hour. We pre ordered a week before and everything was ready for us as soon as we arrived. All staff very pleasant and helped to ensure a sad occasion was actually a happy meal. Would highly recommended visiting"

Starter was very disappointing. The vine leaves were hard and cold like they weren't defrosted enough. When I sent them back I was told they were made fresh every day ???. The main course(moussaka)was very nice and piping hot.

Went for lunch on Saturday (during the Barnsley Live event). Had the House Special essentially a mixed platter for two which was lovely, also quite spectacular to see so much food arrive at the table!! Tons of meat, rice, flatbread, tzatziki and salad. Lots of my favourite things!!
