this restaurant is busy so book early. We were the first guests and arrived at 7pm, so we were able to choose our table and the service was quick and impeccable. We had the foie gras and the salmon terrine in the entrance. I preferred the foie gras. We both had lobster for a main dish and it was delicious. We shared a blown for dessert and it was light, mellow and also delicious. the ancestor was infinitely better than those we had drank in the bistros the previous two evenings.

I booked a table because I knew during my previous visits to betting that this little restaurant is usually very frequent even at the beginning of the summer holiday season, when many Parisians left on holiday. the staff is very welcoming and helpful with us, the English visitors, explaining the menu in detail. for such a small place, there is a sufficient choice of main entrances and dishes and a map of reasonable wines. food is special - so tasty and yet quite simple in its presentation.
