"This is basically THE local pub in Aire sur l'Adore. This is where people go to have quite a few pints. So, the atmosphere is quite nice and genuine if that's what you are looking for. However, they don't care very much about tourists, so don't expect to be treated with too much respect. The food is not good at all. Made very quickly by what must be a purely amateur chef. Fat, simple pub food of the worst sort. Carbonara is spaghetti drowned in loads of cream and some old hard small pieces of bacon. That's it. However, no blame should fall on the nice young girls working there. They do their best and keep the place a bit decent."

"Aujourd'hui ce n'est pas la première fois que je vais déjeuner en famille à crescendo Aire-sur-l'Adour, nous avons toujours eu un excellent service, les légumes sont variées et très bien cuisiner, malgré le petit quoique qu'il y a eu ce midi, je décide de laisser un très bon avis je m'explique : en prenant la formule crescendo pour le plat chaud j'ai pris une escalope de dinde milanaise alors qu'il en restait plus que deux et qu'en me rendant au point chaud on me dit il y en a plus, je me demandais comment ça allait se passer, de suite le manager a été très réactif ainsi que le reste du personnel on m'a proposé un autre plat chaud sans supplément j'ai eu donc la chance pour le prix d'une escalope milanaise d'avoir une entrecôte qui était excellente. On a souvent tendance à laisser des mauvais avis mais très peu de fois à dire quand tout va bien, chose faite À bientôt"

"The last time I visited this place it was very much a cafe of the croque monsieur and chips type, but what a change!!! Now under new management with a carte of modest length but of excellent choices we, wife, elderly mum, friend Jill and myself were treated to some excellent food. Jill and I went for the 18 Euro menu of three courses commencing with a typical gascon salad which included foie gras, followed by a main course of duck (the breast blade fillet) in a wonderful fruit sauce with grapes accompanied by buttered sautéed green beans with mushrooms and steamed potato. Dessert had several choices, I had fruit tart and Jill had creme brûlée. My mother and my wife had a main course of fresh fish brandade with a green salad and mother followed this with a mixed dessert with coffee (cafe gourmande) and my wife with an individual apple crustade. The presentation of each dish was absolutely perfect and the flavours and quality equals anything I have eaten in some really expensive places. The furnishings and ambiance are very much “work in progress” but new management needs time to settle in and impress their personality on a building, but if like me, you really enjoy good food well presented, then this is a place to visit. Very highly recommended!!!"
