"A girlfriend of mine and I, ate and drank at Pasta Basta al Porto along Münster´s harbour this afternoon. The young lady who served us was very polite, friendly and observant. We didn´t have to wait very long before our chosen dishes were brought to...our table. The food was gorgeous; mixed salad with chicken breast strips and, potato dumplings with mushrooms in a creamy, mouth-watering source. Fresh and warm white bread slices came with these dishes. The prices were fair and the atmosphere comfortable. We sat to the back of this restaurant but, if one sits at the front, one can see a lovely view of the harbour. My girlfriend and I will be visiting this place again in the very near future. I recommend to anyone visiting Münster City, to walk along the harbour and enjoy the sights. The only problem, should you be travelling by car, is parking. There are public parking areas, away from the harbour – which one has to pay for, but, the or so kilometres is well worth the walk."

Food was very good, staff was friendly, but the place was too crowded for a family with a baby tables are placed very close together and it gets pretty loud.

The service is very bad, I was waiting minutes for the waitress and other for my cappuccino. In the beginning I ordered cappuccino with honey and when they brought to me they told me that they hadn't got any. I very disappointed and...I will think seriously if I come again.

There must be a problem with the local cooking skills or expectations. The food is ordinary, average even. And yet the place was packed. It is by the river over seeing a very tidy urban industrial landscape. The staff were excellent and knew the menu....Good thing I was in good company and distracted by the conversation and occasional waft of the German habit of smoking. I guess consistent ordinary cooking sells.
