Always a pleasure to be at this brasserie with good craftsmanship cooking and the appropriate choice of wines. A historic place too, with very professional service.

I was with my friends for my birthday there. As a Starter i got a potato soup. Delicious! That make really appetite. And then i got a steak. Very good grilled and good garnished. We got a bottle of wine, which was also very good.(there...were lot of kinds wine) But ! The last one, we were strong recommended by manager a dessert. Nous avion réservé dans la partie annexe, mais apparemment la réservation a été mal transmise. Un spritz facturé à 10 €, alors que l'apérol est vendu à 4.50 €, l'explication donnée est qu'il est fait au champagne. Au moment du règlement la serveuse insiste pour nous dire que le TIP n'est pas inclus, j'aime bien pouvoir donner un pourboire en fonction de la prestation de service. We chose to dine here twice, once was an impromptu late lunch and the second was dinner that we planned after our first experience. The staff is phenomenal and knowledgeable. The menu has some super fresh seasonal choices in additional to traditional offerings. If you...like wine, the list is extensive and full of great choices. The decor and atmosphere make you feel as you are in the middle of the most quaint sort of story book German dining experience. Food was awesome!

This restaurant was recommended to us by our guide, Jeremy Minsberg The Berlin Expert) and was around the corner from the fabulous Weinhnachts Zauber Gendarmenmarkt Christmas market). We had our best meal in Berlin while dining for lunch. It did not disappoint. Our...waiter was charming , who spoke French so we were able to use our French. The food was outstanding- see photos. The atmosphere is eclectic, full of art and a great bar. Look no further and include it in your trip!

Salendo dall'Italia verso Berlino c'eravamo ormai convinti che la cucina tedesca fosse solo stinchi, würstel e birra, invece questo ristorante ci ha aperto un mondo. Esiste una cucina tedesca che sa unire i sapori della tradizione con l'eccellenza e si può bere dell'ottimo vino "alemanno". La carta dei vini è formidabile ma vi consigliamo di farvi guidare tra le etichette tedesche e austriache, non ve ne pentirete. I have been coming here to LW with my parents ever since I was younger. The Schnitzel has been my ultimate favourite. However, this time round, i was appalled by the rude and disrespectful service. I am a fluent German speaker and was asking the...waiter about the different soups on menu, to be told rudely that he does not have time to chat and to look at the English menu'. However, he proceeded to a neighbouring table and happily chatted nonetheless. I was absolutely appalled by the service this time. I will not be coming back.

A very nice restaurant with outside and inside tables and linen napkins (always a good sign) and we chose to eat outside. We chose this restaurant because I wanted wienersnitchel! Everything about our meal, drinks, service, food, was excellent except for my wienersnitchel.I thought that the breadcrumb coating was way too thick. I could only compare with the wienersnitchel that my mother used to make and hers wins by a long long way. I have to confess to being a little disappointed!Would we eat here again?Yes but I won't have wienersnitchel.

If you want to wait one hour for your Schnitzel and minutes for your Kaiserschmarren go ahead. We ordered Wiener Schnitzel and because we saw the service was struggling, we already ordered the Dessert at the same time as we ordered our main dish....But make no mistake that didn’t help at all and we had to wait so long that a part of our group had to leave to make it to another appointment. Other than that the service was rough and unfriendly. No one asks you if you are satisfied or has time for a request in between the customer experience in this place is way below average.
