"Partner and I visited for late lunch on a Sunday. The steak sandwich, albeit small was really good. The Sunday roast was disappointing, had the making of being really good, but unfortunately most items on the plate were hard, I couldn’t cut the Yorkshire, stuffing...or potatoes, it was clear they had been sitting under a hot plate for a while and were not fit to eat, I did tell the waiter about the yorkshires and he did replace them, the new ones were lovely! When the plates were collected I offered my feedback and the waiter replied “sometimes it happens”! Not really the answer I was expecting! I then told another waitress, she just brought the bill and took payment. They should be trained to deal with complaints better. I would return as the steak was lovely, but I think if I was to order a Sunday lunch I would turn up at the start of service and not"

My family and I visited the restaurant today and were greeted warmly by Amber as soon as we walked in. Our drinks arrived promptly and the food was fantastic. We will definitely be returning in the future.

We had a great experience during our visit to the restaurant on Monday afternoon despite it being very busy. The service and food were excellent. The lunch menu offers great value, and we definitely plan on returning soon!

I visited the restaurant last Sunday and Amber greeted us immediately. She was very welcoming and helped us with our table and dietary requirements. She was extremely helpful throughout our visit and we will definitely be returning.

On arrival we were greeted by Alex (great service- thanks Alex and seated. Good furnishings with a lovely atmosphere and music. My family enjoyed the food, especially the chicken share platers, however I felt the fish was bland (hand battered cod). The portion sizes were...good and staff friendly so overall a rather enjoyable visit, just wouldn’t recommend the cod meal.

Wow!! The place was buzzing inside and outside, and the team were all over it. We were informed on the slight wait for food (which was expected given the amount of trade) and the team were working so hard to ensure the standards were still...in place. Food and drinks were great and we had a lovely afternoon! One of the best pubs in the area!! Keep up the fantastic work!

visits today april for Sunday lunch. at the arrival the menu was specified to take a table in the bar area someone come to take our order. After we had waited, no one came to our order. we had a waiter. he said I must not take their order they must be at the order. we ordered truthahnbrust with all circumcisions. when they arrived, they were spatchcock chicken breast that had been bred. we had not expected a juicy truthahntier to be a Sunday dinner as usual. we could only test what the grilled test was during the meal. very disappointing experience.
