I had a quick lunch with a califlower soup, a Maldonado Iberico with melon and a glass of Champagne Fortun's Blanc de Blanc. Even regarding these simples dishes i must say that everything was of high quality, aswell as the bread and butter. Specially the Iberico was realy of a great standard. The ambience is a beat noisy and in what concerns decoration Fortun's with justify a more acurated work.

the gallery from outside is a beautiful place. but in the inner it's a nightmare! the service is absolutely pathetic, they get no value for their money. they could and donate these 25 pounds that they would pay for the high tee in their business to train the staff to provide a better service. my unpleasant experience was due to an rude and unprofessional waiter, I will not visit this place definitiw again.

I was surprised to see that there aren't many reviews for this place. We spent half a day at F&M exploring all the different food and drink options on all the floors. At the end, we decided to grab a bite to eat in this area. The service was good and the food was delicious. It's clear that the prices here are not cheap. We visited last summer, and I am unable to select a date beyond December 2019 from the drop-down box.

We tried the three-course lunch special at the restaurant that day, which mainly featured fish and fresh ingredients. We started with a glass of sparkling wine, and ended with tea and dessert. The chef surprised us with a special dessert plate adorned with "Happy Birthday" written in chocolate sauce. It was a delightful and relaxing experience. I'm certain all the restaurants at this amazing store are fantastic. Next time, we will give the Fountain a try.

A few weeks ago I met up with the community manager of food review site Zomato to talk all things food, pop ups and blogs. This was followed with them sending me a voucher for food at Fortnum and Mason, and having never actually eaten at the restaurant there, I took them up on the offer.The Gallery is situated at the back of the ground floor of Fortnum and Mason. I have been informed that this restaurant does not live up to its reputation. Fortnum and Mason is known for excellence in the British dining experience, but unfortunately that was not the case during my visit. The restaurant appeared to be in the process of redecoration, with no table cloths and tables placed too closely together. The quality of the food has also been diminished, with the bacon on the Welsh rarebit dish being a disappointment. The tap water served was lukewarm, a tactic to encourage guests to order expensive bottled water. Our lunch at the restaurant was delicious and the atmosphere was great. However, the lunch was slightly spoilt by the sometimes pushing and sometimes unhelpful attitude of the staff. I met with an old friend we arrived early for our booking and were taken straight to a table by the window which was lovely. We ordered drinks and during the 5 minutes that we were sitting sipping them, were approached 5 times by 4 different members of staff asking if we wanted to order. That is a bit much.
