After viewing the menu's online I decided to book a table and we were not disappointed. The food was beautiful and a lot of thought had gone in to selecting flavours that bode well together. The service could not have been faulted and we would be happy to return again.

My colleagues and I decided to go to this restaurant for a work lunch and we had an amazing experience. We loved the food and drinks that were served. The only downside was that the service was a bit slow, it took a while for our main courses to be served. However, the staff was very friendly and accommodating, and the chefs did an excellent job with the food. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and I would happily return for another visit.

Not having much like in Edinburgh recently. We ordered steaks which were OK, not great, just OK. My wife ordered a chocolate fondant for dessert. Waiter said that the regular chef was off, so it may take longer than usual. Fair enough. 25mins later, he comes back and says he's had to bin the one he made as it was a disaster. Couple of espressos on the house. Fondant eventually arrives solid in middle. Deleted from bill. Need better chefs. Won't be going back. Visualizza piatti

The food at this restaurant was delicious, and I enjoyed one of the best cocktails of my life. The ambiance was typical for a Malmaison, and the music was at a perfect volume for a nice meal. Our only complaint was that we were served by about five people, most of whom appeared to be in training. We were asked multiple times if we needed anything else or if everything was okay during our two-course meal. It seemed unnecessary and confusing, as it was unclear who was in charge of our table. Overall, the food and ambiance were amazing, but the service could have been more organized.

Located in the charming waterfront suburb of Leith in Edinburgh, this restaurant offers a visually appealing setting. While the food was satisfactory, the service left much to be desired. We were surprised to find an unordered main dish on our bill, along with a 5 pound charge for bread that was not advertised. Additionally, gratuity was automatically included in the total without our consent. When questioned, our server explained that it is the restaurant's policy to add extra charges without informing customers and wait to see if they notice. There are better dining options in Leith to explore, so it is advisable to carefully review your bill if you choose to dine here.

A birthday treat and we really enjoyed it. First time we had eaten there and the food, wine and staff all very pleasant and enjoyable. The Sunday lunch deal of 3 courses for just under £20 was good value. Even tho a set meal there was a wide choice and liked the selfservice first course where I had smoked salmon, ceaser salad, coleslaw and lovely rustic bread. My partner had an omlette made by the chef, closely watched by me who's rubbish at doing them. The roast ribeye with all the trimmings was juicy and flavourful and using the attendant chef again, enjoyed that old favourite zingy crepes suzette.
