Very unexpected surprize 79th birthday celebration for me. First time I have been to MAMBOS , it wont be my last ! BRILLIANT staff, sumptious and delicious menu, decor unbelievable, atomsphere and surroundings can't be beaten. WOULD THOROUGHLY RECOMMEND MAMBOS 100%.

Christening lunch for about 40 today, was superb! Excellent faultless service. The varied meals from Italian to British Sunday lunches with perfectly cooked fresh vegetables, were exceptional! We highly recommend this beautifully decorated restaurant with easy parking.

Everytime we come here the staff are amazing. Whether its a table for 2 on Friday night, or the whole family for Sunday dinner, the guys at Mambos can't do enough for you. The food is amazing and everything id fresh. The cocktail list is also extensive. Best restauraunt in South Shields by far. Well done guys.

Went for lunch we ordered two main course and the pasta we got was terrible bland and all I could taste was pure garlic my sisters pasta sauce just tasted burnt and left an awful taste in your mouth not what you expect when your paying £62 for two adults and 1 kids meal. Staff are lovely and welcoming but the food has definitely went down hill since I last visited used to be my favourite restaurant

Tasty food, presented well across the table. I felt mine was under seasoned but that is splitting hairs and also personal preference. However the decor is luxurious and lovely. The staff were fantastic, well dressed, charming and attentive. Glad there were vegan and gluten free options available, although not advertised (much to the delight of my accompanying party).
