Mamma Forno - Menu

Because it's right at the police station, sometimes it's loaded with noise when you sit outside.

mamma forno is just minutes from the westin grand frankfurt. eating is excellent, as to home cooked soups. we had garnel and seafood pasta, it was excellent.

High prices. Very long waiting for the cheque. The waiter asked for his tip (3 euro), very rude. We didnt repond and he took 60 cents without asking.. so no tip, and never again!

There was nothing out-of-this-world about Mamma Forno, but it's conveniently located (to the riverfront area of downtown Frankfurt), our waiter was actually really nice and service was fast, and the food was fine (pasta and sandwiches). Reasonable prices for the amount and quality of food...you get.

Today u realised that one of my favourite Italian dish, spaghetti Bolognese can taste awful too. This spaghetti is yuk. The waiter told me that they make the spaghetti in the restaurant. Please guys, just buy the spaghetti from the grocery store. You will improve...your sales. Not worth the price of Eur 9.5.

It seems that its owned by Turkish people, the cook, waiters almost everyone is Turkish and I think they have experience in Italian food. I have ordered a salad which is very good and well presented, also ordered penne Arabiata which is far from any...Italian taste, the pasta was over cooked and became very soft and lost it texture, they did not use penne which they should. Not recommended for Italian food maybe something else.

Our first visit was a perfect match: very good food, including Pasta Norma and the large salad with fennel and delicious balsamico dressing are particularly recommended. In addition, a very refreshing smoothie a super substitute for the (not available glass wine). The service was particularly attentive, several waiters tried us, were well tuned and inconspicuous. Despite the open kitchen, the large restaurant is not "qualified", but offers pleasantly fresh air. We like to come back!

Me and my partner had pasta each which was very tasty and well worth trying. We kept getting jealous of other people's food going past too! We wanted it all! Toilets have lots of toiletries on the windowsill which are all free to take/use. very...nice touch. Only thing which prevented an excellent review was the fact that the bill was presented to me on a touch screen tablet and the waiter wanted the payment immediately. Normally restaurants give you time to look and review the bill first. Then he hovered as if he was waiting for a tip that I was not ready or prepared to give yet. Overall a very good experience!

I feel like this restaurant can improve much on its service. they have to wait for a menu to be brought to them, but that took so long as we only have a menu. then it took another one before a waiter came. to take our order. the food was excellent. I had the Alla-truth, my friend he had pesto rosso. I think that was the best Pesto-Rosso I've ever had, and I was kind of sad that I didn't order it myself. but the alla Verdure was also excellent. the sweet tasted very fresh. eating on other tables also looked delicious, I will come back to taste other dishes. but after we were finished, it still took before we could finally pay, despite signaling a waiter and even though they told him that soon...
