"Cela faisait un certain temps que nous voulions aller dans ce restaurant. Quand enfin l'occasion s'est présentée nous n'avions pas eu le temps de réserver (c'était en se baladant en ville qu'on est tombé sur ce resto et qu'on s'est dit allons y). Déjà l'accueil de la patronne, certes très souriante, mais quand on lui dit qu'on n'a pas réservé elle regarde sa montre au moins 10 bonnes secondes avant de nous installer sur une table libre (les autres ayant des papiers écrit "réservé" dessus). On prend la commande, quand je demande se qu'est la bourride on me répond "bah comme une bouillabaisse quoi !" et en entrée je prends une pince de crabe à 7€ les100g. Sauf que la patronne a oublié de me préciser que juste la pince faisait 325g, donc plus de 23€juste pour une pince çà fait un peu mal. Ensuite arrive la bourride, très copieuse, mais aucun rince doigt avec, et beaucoup trop de coriandre à mon goût. De plus elle était très relevée, on ne sentait presque plus le goût du poisson. Bref pour juste 2 entrées, 2 plats et 1 bouteille de vin, 100€ et mise à part une jeune serveuse le service n'était pas top (arrivés à 20h15,partis à 22h30)bref nous n'y retournerons plus"

we had a nice meal here! the waiters were so friendly and they worked so hard to get us our food on reasonable wise. they told us the menu and helped us get wein. the food was highly recommended!

Quoi de mieux que de dîner dans une poissonnerie ! Fraîcheur garantie, c'était vraiment excellent, jusqu'au vin bio proposé ! Seul bémol: on sent un manque de "formation" (service, organisation, etc) au métier de la restauration, mais le sourire compense...

Restaurant of fish and seafood in the heart of ancient Antibes. Possibility of eating out. Quality of good fish but often covered by the taste of vinegar and it is really a shame: I ordered a octopus salad in which there was more salad than the octopus; The octopus was a little hard and the amount of vinegar literally destroyed my mouth and my taste buds, and the tuna too cooked. Fantastico! Accoglienza eccezionale e disponibilità. Pesce fresco direttamente dal negozio di pesce e piatti cucinati con maestria. Lo chef e il proprietario del negozio di pesce sono padre e figlio, buono e bello. Angelo il maitre di camera è davvero buono, oltre a raccomandare bene riesce a stabilire una giusta sensazione con il cliente, che permette di apprezzare il cibo e l'esperienza di mangiare in questo luogo magico... P. S. Aggiungiamo il fatto che avevano un raro esemplare di aragosta blu, che ha reso il pranzo ancora più sorprendente

Mer Sea was recommended to us by an employee at Plage Keller earlier in the day and thank god for that. From the start we knew this meal was going to be fantastic no paper menus, just a board listing fresh seafood and plates. A seafood platter was brought tableside for a visual aid (not to eat) but gave us a good idea of the menu. All of the fish and entrees were incredible, from the oysters to the crab claws to the 4 different entree plates we got, as well as the remarkable desserts. "In this location, surrounded as it is with large restaurants spilling out onto the pavement with their me-too menus of les pizzas and pâtes and overly familiar sounding meals, it is most unexpected to find a bespoke and personal restaurant offering a fine selection of dishes cooked with care. The menu, described appropriately as the 'carte du moment' presents a mercifully small number of seasonal and therefore changing entrées, plats and desserts. However, it is still hard to choose. Each one is enticing, interesting and original with the promise of flavours, combinations of ingredients and textures, without tricks and unnecessary embellishment. For a large number, a selection of all the entrées as share dishes makes a lot of sense. Everyone gets a taste of something and the difficulty of having to choose is avoided. For the plats, a single selection is best with pork, duck, tuna and salmon along with risotto as options on the night we were there. A fine burger also available is perhaps a concession to the location and, actually, a very fine dish. Four desserts are offered with each one tempting and beautifully prepared. Another selection for the table is highly recommended. The wine list is adequate and the ambiance works for lone dining as well as for a larger and more raucous group. The service is smiling and efficient as well as courteous. This is a place to make a favourite. The risk to this reviewer is that it will become deservedly highly popular and impossible for last minute bookings."
