Been here several times and always had a good time, but this time was a bit disappointing, slow service, the place was freezing, food was great when it came. Hopefully it's just a blip

The food was very good. There are a ton of options. Including an entire menu of just burgers. Got the ploughman lunch and portions were very generous and pleasantly displayed. Would highly recommend

Family bon voyage meal for my niece. Excellent food and service. Mushroom stroganoff then honeycomb crunch cheesecake both to die for. Only complaint was there too much food so had to leave some !! Really good quality pub food. Highly recommend.

I love midge hall for an evening trip however we went for a spot of lunch. The food was lovely but it would have been good to see a cheaper lunch menu. Also it wasnt busy yet had to wait quite long for service and the bill at the end.. let it down for me.

I just wanted to thank you for the food you have provided for us to gather this Christmas. lexi helped us to place our order and was friendly and helpful. the meal was hot, plentiful and tasty we were all filled! and the bubbly was super! everything was perfect, and so a good value, we hope they do the same in this year. many thanks to you

We had a meal for 11 plus a baby here yesterday 11/06 the food was amazing , huge portions and really fresh . The staff were really helpful and friendly , they rushed to help when my elderly dad fell off his chair and showed real concern . Wonderful selection on the menu , lots to choose from and great for vegetarians too , of which there were 3 of us . All in all a fab experience we will be back

Dinner on a beautiful summer evening. the weather was so nice that we decided to eat in the garden on the back. the table service was of very pleasant employees who ensured that we had everything we needed. Although very busy, we didn't have to wait long for our appetizers, which were well presented and pruned. our main course was similar with really generous portions. I had the squid that was so fresh that I suspect that a good veterinarian would fold him! really glad to see that they have survived the hardships of the pandemic, they can definitely count on our continued use

I have been here many times over the last 20+ years and never left a review Midday lunchtime visit this week. Welcoming staff member on duty. Large menu choice available. My sister ordered chicken burger and chips (no photos available), very nicely presented. I ordered chipolata meatballs with rice and chips. The pub was spacious and easily accommodated my grandson in his pram. Everything about this place was great. One minor issue...3 attempts at ordering from the menu resulted in the choices being unavailable. I have not rated this lower, as the food we did order was in fact very good. We both ordered desserts....mine being Oreo cookie crumble. Came with a choice of cream or ice-cream. Als...
