"Visited the restaurant recently. Food quality has dropped considerably. Ordered both prawn soup and Malaysian laksa noodles, broth were very thin. Chicken felt like congealed meat, rubbery. Tasted like prawn soup, but definitely not Malaysian laksa. Ordered soya milk, hoping it would be freshly hand made. Turns out to be more than likely Vitasoy-alike soymilk, which was warmed up and served in a cheap plastic cup. Even the roadside vendors back in South East Asian countries would have the courtesy to serve in a proper glass/mug. When asked for the bill, was told to pay in cash. Waitress said the card machine Wifi connection was poor, but we were sat literally couple of feet away from the till. She reluctantly asked us to pay at the till (which was fine by me . After paying, we noticed they had a little poster up on the wall selling frozen durians for £22/pack. This time, the waitress said this transaction MUST be paid in cash. We didn 't have enough on us and the audacity, she told us to go withdraw some cash at the ATM (in the rain!!! . Overall, a very disappointing experience."

Clean place, nice staff, not too busy on a sat (tho lots of takeaways being collected. Nice bubble tea. Toilets clean and recently redecorated. Big portions. Sadly the food was pretty flavourless. Minimal veg in non vegetarian option. Would not recommend unless you are after bland food.

Excellent food with great service. We went with my mother and father for his 84th birthday. Mum doesn't like spicy food. However the range and quality of food was excellent. The prawns in the sweet and sour were juicy, the noodles had great flavour and the pak choi just crunched with freshness.

I am from Sheffield and wasn’t aware of this restaurant until recently. I’m glad I discovered it as it’s a hidden gem. The menu is extensive and the dishes I had were absolutely delicious. They also serve Boba tea here which is a plus. The only downside is that some items on the menu are on the pricier side, but it’s worth it. Can’t wait to go again.

Good points: great staff, reasonable food, clean tables, open kitchen looked clean and busy. Bad points: the skirting boards, heaters, toilet cubicles and stairs are filthy and not with the dirt of a few days either! The wall paper is peeling. Every corner has the dirt of months. We had sat down and ordered food without really looking around. We stayed because we had very little time and the table was clean and the open kitchen looked ok.

large menu with very generous portions. it's on the pricier side for chinese in the city, and it's not leagues ahead of its competition in terms of quality, but the amount of food you get is enough that you can have leftovers for days, so it's justified. usually order takeout from here, but on the one occasion we sat in, it was pretty quiet (a monday late afternoon), and the FOH staff were lovely. we'll be making an effort to come by more often.

Fantastic menu with loads of photos depicting south east Asian inspired dishes. For the uninitiated, the usual 'British ' pseudo Chinese fayre is in abundance. For the die hard ethnic visitors, it may not be 100% authentic, but then it is over 6,500 miles to the motherland. Taste is near enough to be the real thing. Service was excellent, restaurant staff were extremely friendly, patient and helpful. Meals were well presented and hot on presentation.

Pit stop before a film and decided to try here as close to where we wanted to be. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left we were very well treated and the hosts were lovely and friendly. The food we ordered was well presented and tasted amazing. Everyrhing we ordered was just done to perfection and nothing we could fault with the food. Overall a very pleasant experience with amazing food. Will definitely come here again, if were back in the area.

My friends Laksa was ok I think. She didn’t say much about it. She didn’t finish it. I couldn’t finish the vegetarian udon noodle dish. Firstly my friends vegetarian Laksa had chicken and prawns in it and we sent it back. My udon dish had a few bits of pak Choi and not much tofu. It was mainly bean sprouts noodles and soy sauce. Not very interesting. Very disappointing. Surprised this restaurant has 4.7 rating which is why I had booked it. Friendly people working there.

Went along to noodle doodle with our daughter and her partner and 1 year old grandson. For convenience we ordered a set meal. Our daughter on the other hand ordered dishes from the vast selection available from the remainder of the menu. The drinks were very reasonably priced. The food did not disapoint in any way. More than generous portion sizes. All tasted great and sizzling hot. Service was faultless. 4 people, a bottle of wine, 4 beers and around 10 dishes £132. About a 3 hour stay, very relaxed, no rushing, full bellies, no complaints. Up there with the best Chinese meals we've had.

"After I had a series of bad visits in our local francie and benny filialen, I was reserved to visit. after an evening event in sheffield arena, this was the only place where we could get a table. I can't believe how different it was at our earlier visits in our local. the coworkers were all excellent. they were helpful and dedicated and attentive. we fought to decide what to eat (supply for the waitress who came 3 times to our order as we lasted so long) so ordered to share several dishes. the whole food was hot and served in good time. beautiful crispy fries. the chicken parmigiana was huge and served both with a good part of spaghetti and fries. very tasty and a good coating of brotkrust with exactly the right amount of sauce. really enjoyed the bacon kartoffel skins and acid cream. my daughter had a burger who looked very nice, but she totally defeated her when it was quite big. I was honest about the quality of food and how different this experience was for others. we had a couple of cocks. the blueberry crucifixion was amazing. really refreshing and a nice fizz. the prices of the mocktails felt very reasonable, and a good selection on the menu. perfect for drivers or non-trinkers who want something more beautiful than a soft drink. a very pleasant meal and excellent evening. still shocked how different and inconsistent 2 restaurants can be from the same chain. we'll see you next time in sheffield. well made frankie and benny’s entertainment center"
