Despite mixed TripAdvisor reviews, the proposal of the hotel concierge - big mistake! older waiters bordered on bosiness and indifference, and kitchen was glamorous: mixed appetizers were average and fish dishes were either overlooked or fishy (not fresh). mentions this to an older server without accommodation. appetizer prices beyond better restaurants. watch and go somewhere else!

my wife and I rode to nuovo mario when we returned to our hotel am steinplatz after a shopping trip in kurfürstendam. what a happiness! the food was excellent. my special choice was tagliatelle al salmone, and it could hardly have been more tasty - much laughs and an excellent tomato sauce with zucchini. the service and the cocktails were both excellent! this is a real commemorative feature. we visited this restaurant on business. the service was fantastic. very friendly and very fast reaction on order or ask. they were even suggested how to combine certain meal times, and these suggestions were fantastic. when eating I am not 100% for the 5 points. it was very good and very tasty. but it was outstanding. So suppe is too mad and needs a little more to turn. but the other dishes were so good for me and my partner that I consider it as a small minus;) a fantastic place to enjoy eating.

we asked our hotel for a recommendation and they suggested nuovo mario. we went over from our hotel and the outer ambiente was incredible, beautiful white tablecloths, fresh fruit and vegetables on every table. we sat on our table and ordered something weeping. the menus lacked complete English descriptions, but the waiter helped us. very Italian! three people in our group ordered lamb and they were thrilled. I had penne arrabiata and they added garnel, very good. we had dessert and cappuccino, great eating and very rich. we wish we had found this place earlier, we would have come earlier. a very nice restaurant, good service and a great ambiente. many local foods here.
