"Met my friend here this morning for a catch up, so glad I did. What a beautiful, welcoming and totally gorgeous place this is. I had a very yummy Mocha followed by an Indian Chai tea, made by the lovely owner, who was very polite and such a genuinely nice person. Will definitely be going back again but next time I will be having some delicious cake as well. x x x x"

"Not sure what happened today, been nice when been previously but food poor and poor attitude of management. I had potato skins for starter, very greasy and undercooked. My partner had soup and was cold. I had chicken marershala for main. Had big lumps of unmelted cheese and couldn't taste the tomato, chips were also hard. When complained to management he said you were first customers of the day and chef might not have been awake. Nice attitude. We won't be going back"

"A really nice chilled atmosphere, the food was very nice tasty and well presented. A friend and myself shared so we could leave room for pudding. Staff were suitably attentive. "the food was great, my menu was crispy chicken with wild mushrooms and spinach with a Hollandaise sauce, wow these aromen absolutely beautiful. chief was sirloin of bark with roast potatoes, with maic also, crispy flower cauliflower with cheese, sugary snap bucks and carrots with a delicious yorkshire pudding mouth watery good and for pudding. sticky toffee pudding with vanilla ice cream with extra sticky toffee sauce. mmmmmm .initial service was fast, but we think that we are forgotten by the end of our main meal, which was actually welcomed as the main meal, was so beautiful that it needed a little time to enjoy. all in all a beautiful experience that I would like to do again. guess what? I did it again. so delicious the garlic mushrooms as my appetizer, my wife had the prawn cocktail she said was so fresh. I had chicken parmesan that came with a lite salat, made to house chunky chips along with an salsa and a garlic dimmer... we both agreed to have a look at the desserts after our main course, I am as happy as the size of this beautiful parmo, which was absolutely stunning more filling than I thought."

"Reviewed this place (takeaway only 3 years ago and I was pretty scathing. The owner manager gave a lengthy reply which did nothing to encourage me to return. However, 3 years have elapsed and the place has undergone some pretty serious renovation refurbishment so, we tried again. The quality of the food has definitely not had the same makeover as the building. The fish as I said in my previous review is still poor quality compared to the product they were serving some years ago. It's grey, not the creamy, white and flaky cod I get back home in Sheffield. Top notch prices, seriously poor quality fare. The long queues outside may lead you assume that a value for money experience awaits. It doesn't. If the owner (Glenn? would like me to name the two chippies we use in Sheffield he could ask the owners where they buy their fish from and follow suit. The blurb on the website about not compromising on quality is utter tosh. Don't let the fact that a couple of easily recognised BBC cooks got a decent meal there some time ago persuade you go too."
