I booked this restaurant in the heart of the historic center of Lecce through TheFork, attracted by the discount offered through the application. Once I crossed the threshold of the tavern, I immersed myself in a characteristic atmosphere, although I would have preferred more lighting. The stone walls and the star vaults give a unique charm to the room. The first course, consisting of ravioli filled with burrata and topped with cherry tomato and caciocavallo sauce, was exceptional. The staff proved attentive and helpful. Despite offering honest prices and excellent quality ingredients, I found the portions of the dishes slightly small.

I ravioli ripieni di burrata sono assolutamente deliziosi, con una salsa di pomodorini che esalta i sapori. Il caciocavallo grattugiato aggiunge un tocco speciale. La qualità del cibo è semplicemente eccellente, così come il servizio attento e cordiale. L'atmosfera è accogliente e perfetta per una serata da trascorrere in compagnia. Consigliatissimo!

Nice and characteristic place located in the center and in a not too crowded street. The menu has some interesting meat and fish options although it is not particularly extensive. I undoubtedly recommend the mixed hot-cold starter, meat-fish with many proposals and traditional Salento dishes (30eur for 2), as first courses we let ourselves be convinced by the off-menu proposal i.e. spaghetti pumpkin, truffle (16eur) really fragrant and tasty and then the suckling pig with mustard sauce (18 euros): soft and tasty even if the sauce covered the flavor of the meat a little too much.
