"After an extensive dike and beach walk we discovered the Filou. As sea air is, as it is known, famine and it was already against evening, we decided to return there. All windows were already reserved. We were lucky that the last window we got off was reserved only later. So we had enough time to take a seat there. We sat on a cozy bench in the corner with pillows in the back and great views of the Baltic Sea and the Sea Bridge from Schönberger Strand. The restaurant is modern and brightly decorated. This makes everything very friendly and we felt right here. The service quickly came to our table with the extensive menu and the extra asparagus card. We decided quite quickly and when the waitress came back to our table, beside the drinks, we could order the food, which was also served super fast. We chose the asparagus salad with warm Schrimps, and there was baguette bread. To drink there was Rharbarber and Strawberry Rharbarber Choir, which was very refreshing and was not too sweet. The asparagus salad was delicious, that was a special asparagus dish. Unfortunately, the 3 slices of Baguettebrot were totally tough and unfortunately not crispy, but if you're hungry you can eat that too. We didn't have to wait long for the bill and we wished as we went a nice evening. If you like seasonal dishes, fish and schleswig-holsteinische cuisine, you should return to the Filou. It is recommended to reserve a table beforehand, especially if you want to sit on the window. When leaving the restaurant, we noticed that it was also for guests with walking disabilities or Wheelchair gives a solution. Next to the stairs there is a wheelchair ramp and a small lift to the toilet."

More precisely, sea air makes hunger and hunger is evil. There are many different places along the dike. Tappas, Döner... nee Guys, I'm not really a big fish, but Döner on the beach? No, no! So we went to Ehlers. A large seat on the dike. To protect against wind, which is ubiquitous on the coast, glass fronts. Right next to the shop there are also chairs and tables. On this side of the dike still possibilities for sitting and eating. Tables with chairs and beach baskets. Parasols protect against such dangerous rays. And the smokers are also thought here. Two pavilions with standing tables and bar stools. It's real. That's what's going on. Here Ehler's fish is offered in all variations. Fresh fried fish. Great. Smoked, inlaid and and and. ... We chose the baked fish, once with garlic sauce and once with homemade regranulates and rolls. Of course, the price was pretty proud, we thought we could get the fish in the bungalow. 10.80€. Worse has a number, should put us and be called Sann. It's funny. Ten minutes later... call the number. What awaited us on the beautifully dressed plate was the hammer. A huge baked fish, with sauce, salad and a bun. Normally, you're cracking a baked fish, but here everything was different. The panade is not too thick and really crispy. Add the fish, not dry or drink in fat. We had a real job to do everything. There was the price for the very tasty dish and also the beautiful location, exactly right. Absolutely recommended."

"Actually, a great tapas restaurant, one or two years ago, I would have awarded five stars. Unfortunately, it has dropped in covid times. It was converted to self-service without reservation, which is partly somewhat chaotic, but in principle still okay. I find it really a pity that giant garbage cans are produced, the tapas are individually packed in cardboard and aluminium containers. Waste separation does not take place. The tapas are all right, but they have also left in quality. The potatoes were burned black, they had to sort out a lot."

"In jedem Urlaub ist mindestens ein Besuch in Witt's Gasthof Pflicht. Denn die Speisen dort sind einfach nur klasse, geschmacklich astrein und handwerklich perfekt. Hinzukommt, dass auch hier in Holstein immer weniger Traditionsgerichte auf dem Teller landen. Bei Familie Witt ist das zum Glück anders. Bei unserem jüngsten Besuch dort hatte ich Rübenmus (Foto( mit Schweinebauch und Kochwurst, dazu Salzkartoffeln und eine obergeile Speckstippe (Preis zum Zeitpunkt des Besuchs etwa 20 Euro . Von den anderen drei Gerichten auf unserem Tisch darunter Schweinefilet mit Maronenkruste, Matjes mit Hausfrauensoße sowie gewickeltes Rind (Rouladen! gibt es leider keine Fotos. Aber seid versichert: Alles war megalecker. Die Preise sind fair, die Portionen mehr als reichlich, der Service immer aufmerksam, höflich und vor allem lustig. Kurzum: Wir bleiben dabei mindestens ein Besuch ist Pflicht. Danke für die guten Zeiten, die wir bei Euch schon haben durften!"
