"I visited the area after a recommendation and went to this cafe based on suggestions online. I personally saw little of the bohemian up and coming neighbourhood promised to me but I am willing to accept I maybe didn't look hard enough. The Pappelreihe Cafe is warm and relatively inviting with a menu in English for those lazy people like me who don't speak German. They have an interesting selection on the menu - focussed on breakfasts and sandwiches as well as some tasty sounding specials. It feels like a bit of a fusion place so most people should find something good to eat. I can recommend the sandwiches - good bread and tasty ingredients. The salad I ordered was a little on the bland side - very stingy on avocado and swamped with leaves. I didn't spot much in the way of dressing. Still. At least it wasn't a tiny portion. And they have fresh pepper grinders! Hoorah!The coffee seemed good - the best I had on my trip BUT still that lousy dark bitter coffee most German cafes insist on serving. Or maybe I'm just fussy. The only downsides are the speed of service - it took AGES for my food to come - and they weren't even very busy. Still. At least it was fresh. Other negatives - and this is probably down to their friendliness more than anything - but it seemed to attract a lot of table hoggers. I counted seven people at one point hogging four tables with nothing more than two coffees between them all. I found that irritating. That and the guy who was snoring in the corner!They seem to offer some great sounding events too - like their beats and breakfasts. The music was not overly loud when I was there but maybe on those event days they'll crank it up. Overall I think it's worth a punt but I wouldn't visit the area just for this. The staff are friendly too."

I go here often, the coffee is always amazing but when im not feeling coffee the range of lovely teas also hits the spot. i can easily waste hours here just relaxing on a cold day.

Pedimos un café muy bueno, pero pedí un Earl Grey que sabía más bien como un English Breakfast. Lo bueno es que sabía como un rico English Breakfast, así que me lo tomé de todas maneras. Buen lugar para tomar algo calientito en días frescos, buen ambiente y servicio.

Coming from London it is always such a treat to be able to enjoy a delicious, healthy breakfast without having to compete for a table or to get yourself heard to your dining companions. This place is so chilled out and relaxed and just how the breakfast vibe should be! Fully recommend the yoghurt and muesli with really tasty mango compote. The smoothies were great too. Friendly staff and well priced.

Half of the ordered Breakfast was forgotten. We had to ask a couple of times for the rest of our breakfast, nobody seemed to care. The staff was unfriendly and rude, irgnored us even while talking to them. Also the quality and quantity of the food was not good. The cheese was very cheap one and it was hardly enough to feed to people (maybe if the conplete breakfast would have been served it would have been enough). But the coffee was good. Visualizza piatti

Bin auf das Cafe durch einen Spaziergang zum Tempelhofer Feld aufmerksam geworden. Die Einrichtung ist sehr nett und gemütlich. Ich habe einen Flat White, einen Himbeer- Smoothie und das Osmanische Frühstück bestellt. Alles hat sehr gut geschmeckt. Das Frühstück war reichlich und frisch. Schade war, dass die Toilette (Damen) keinen sonderlich gepflegten Eindruck gemacht hat. Das Papier zum Händeabtrocknen war gar nicht vorhanden. Der Service war in Ordnung.

Die Karte und das Ambiente des Neuköllner Cafés waren eigentlich vielversprechend:leider der Service nicht. Der nach 15 Minuten servierte Smoothe war ganz o. k., die darauf folgende Wartezeit von sage und schreibe 40 Minuten für den angepriesenen Salat mit dem Blauschimmelkäse kaum akzeptabel! Deswegen habe ich dann den Teller zurückgewiesen. Die Bemerkung der ausländischen Servier"Kraft" setzte dem Fass die Krone auf: "... dann sollte ich doch zu McDonalds gehen!" Sehr peinlich: Ich hätte (aus der Gastronomie kommend) eher eine Entschuldigung erwartet... Schade eigentlich!
