"We just got in to Munich this evening for a 4-day stay. Needed to find a restaurant within walking distance where I could carry out dinner for myself, my husband, and my picky teenage son. Being from America, pizza is always a first choice to fit that purpose. Passaparola is a neighborhood restaurant run by a true Italian family, from what I picked up. A friendly local couple struck up a conversation with me while I waited for my order at the bar. They apparently frequent Passaparola and couldn't believe I had found out about it on Trip Advisor. I guess they thought it was a local secret! My Pizza Margherita was tasty. My husband liked his Pizza Tirolese. My son ordered the Pizza Salame, which is supposed to be topped with mozzarella, salami and pepperoni. However, in place of the pepperoni were lots and lots of whole pepperocinis, which are peppers, not meat. That must be a typo on the menu. By the time I walked home with the pizzas, the peppers had infiltrated the entire pizza, and even though my son picked them off, the pepperocini taste overwhelmed even the salami. We both thought it tasted awful. I won't ding the restaurant for that because I'm sure it was fine if you like that kind of pepper, but we don't. The chocolate cake was very rich, but nothing special. The tiramisu is probably the better than I've had at any restaurant in the U.S. I would recommend Passaparola to other locals and visitors, and would try it again the next time I have a hankering for a tasty Italian-style pizza."

Where is the cheese? Certainly not on the pizze! Dough was soso, uninteresting, toppings almost non existing. Una cantina bastanza povera

If you like pizza, you need to go to Passaparola! Best pizza is for me the Gorgonzola II. Service is nice and the local is really nice and comfortable.

Most restaurants leave their red wine not chilled in the room, getting the temp up to or so.... brrrr flavor ruined! These people understand how to service : Restaurant itself is cute and service friendly. Nice tiramisu and pizza Parma also good... however mushroom...pizza was really soggy do have to deduct a bit. Nevertheless had a nice evening

Since I live in Munich, I use to come here with some friends from time to time. Pizza is very well prepared: the pasta is well cooked and the ingredients are all fresh and of good quality. My favorite one: Pizza alla Norma.Drawbacks: pizza are quite expensive (~9Eur on average - but aligned with the prices in Munich) and on Saturday it is closed.

Great food, welcoming staff and fair prices. The Interor is very simple, almost boring, but some small changes (like candles on the tables could be a great improvement for the atmosphere. I was told that the backyard is really nice, so I look forward to sitting there in the summer. Nevertheless, I had one of the best lasagnas of my life there, so that the food definitely comes out for other shortcomings.

We tried quite a few dishes from the menu, and none of them felt right. Vitello Tonnato was off, the carpaccio felt as if it was defrosting on our table, the meat was very very cold, very red and watery. We did order some pizza,...as this is what this place is famous for, and it was really, quite average. Also the place itself has too many tables stacked one near the other, so the atmosphere is not relaxed

It was my first eating out in Munich . They have two sitting area. Once you enter the entrance you will see their smaller area with a bar and a old style oven. I was very happy when they put me and my bf there. It's quite small but the atmosphere is really lovely. I had a creamy sauce past with minced beef. It was quite nice but I might go for other flavours next time. My bf had a pizza with ham, pepperoni, olives. That was absolutely stunning. Our waiter was very friendly, helpful and professional. We had a really great time there!
