"Paul Bocuse is no longer there but his restaurant remains an exceptional address, where his cuisine is reinvented but respected, just as is the choice of products. It's not easy to succeed in a tutelary shadow and it will take a little more time and adjustment to achieve it. The gargantuesque side has disappeared, the map including signature dishes is more seasonalized. Small settings are necessary on the beverage service to avoid that glasses (water and wine) remain empty and ke dessert wagon, with an elegant setting of desserts on the part, makes it less dreaming than Mr. Paul's trolley. But there are always simple things to transcend the palate as this reduction of eschalote with vinegar and white wine in the mimosa scale eggs. An impeccable lobster of outfit, beautifully revisited quenelles in double layer, a small taste of Noilly or Champagne with cream, short the simplicity at the service of excellence."

When you turn into the parking lot in front of the restaurant, the colourful exterior of the building announces that you will immerse yourself in a completely different time in a few minutes while driving home. Even if “Monsieur Paul” is no longer present, he is now 91 years old, he considers his guest group as a façade painting.

A beautiful restaurant with very nice and competent staff. An excellent value for money with choices of dish with a fine taste and exceptional! The menus are generous in quantity more than in other great gourmet restaurants. Dietary restrictions: I appreciated their attention to prepare dishes adapted to my lactose intolerance. In addition, they were very reactive to get out of suitable quality dishes because I only warned them when I ordered them.

"6/6/2020 dinner. This restaurant was obviously packed with customers. After the lockdown. The decor and setting were classic. There were many servers, helpers and waiters around. As I noticed, they are all males. Each guy had an assigned role, greeting, bread, water, wine/beverage, taking order, cleaning up. No one was multi tasked. But Service was just ok. I felt rushed to order drinks when I just received my menu literally 2 min ago. Anyway, food did deliver quickly. amuse bouche were yummy and pretty. Lobsters in an iced court bouillon with spinach Royals and caviar was creative and refreshing. Quenelles of lobsters was delicious and delicate. The rest of main dishes Foie gras, red mullet and chicken) is just ok to me. A lot of super culinary techniques involved but not tasteful. In fact, the local Bresse chicken truffled cooked in a white bladder Mere Fillioux was a true disappointment. While we finished our bottle of white wine. No one offered us any additional beverage before having the infamous chicken. I had to asked for a wine menu and ordered a bottle of red myself. That’s not acceptable. On the other hand, Dessert and cheese were wonderful. Both white and red Wine was excellent. Heinz did tell the head waiter about the infamous local chicken. Oh well. I expected too much from this restaurant. I wish the restaurant continue to improve its performance and operation. Nevertheless we’re thankful to have this dinning experience."
