"Paul Bocuse is no longer there but his restaurant remains an exceptional address, where his cuisine is reinvented but respected, just as is the choice of products. It's not easy to succeed in a tutelary shadow and it will take a little more time and adjustment to achieve it. The gargantuesque side has disappeared, the map including signature dishes is more seasonalized. Small settings are necessary on the beverage service to avoid that glasses (water and wine) remain empty and ke dessert wagon, with an elegant setting of desserts on the part, makes it less dreaming than Mr. Paul's trolley. But there are always simple things to transcend the palate as this reduction of eschalote with vinegar and white wine in the mimosa scale eggs. An impeccable lobster of outfit, beautifully revisited quenelles in double layer, a small taste of Noilly or Champagne with cream, short the simplicity at the service of excellence."

A beautiful restaurant with very nice and competent staff. An excellent value for money with choices of dish with a fine taste and exceptional! The menus are generous in quantity more than in other great gourmet restaurants. Dietary restrictions: I appreciated their attention to prepare dishes adapted to my lactose intolerance. In addition, they were very reactive to get out of suitable quality dishes because I only warned them when I ordered them.

"My wife and I dined here on a Saturday night (having made a reservation several days in advance), and it was one of the best dining experiences we have had in France in a long time. We reserved for the early seating, showed up on time, and were among the first customers there.We had a small table near the door. The disadvantage is that we were occasionally wafted by a cold draft from the front door. The bigger advantage was that we were sitting near the restaurant's beautiful, precision, hand-operated meat slicer. The specialty starter is beef that has been cured for seven months with seven spices. It is sliced paper thin (and that is no exaggeration) and served heaped on a plate. Heavenly. My wife and I ordered only one of these plates and it was more than ample for the two of us.That was followed by our starters. I ordered the minestrone marocain légèrement épicé comme à Tanger (Moroccan minestrone, lightly spiced as in Tangiers), and my wife the rillettes de crabe aux petits légumes et Granny Smith (shredded crab with little vegetables and pieces of Granny Smith apple). Both were delicious.For our main dishes I had a pavé de cerf (deer steak), which was ample and perfectly cooked. My wife had fish, also cooked to perfection. I don't recall the wine we ordered, but the choice was from wines that were at their peak (not just wines one or two years old), yet the prices were reasonable.One remark about the decore: it manages to be a bit traditional and modern at the same time, with reproductions of paintings by Modigliani and various early 20th-century (mainly French) artists adorning the wall.Overall, a restaurant worth going out of your way for."
