Don't bother. The food is very very average for the price. My burger was over cooked they forgot my vegetables. We were handed the menus as we walked in rather than at the table and there was no cutlery. All a bit average for what you pay.

Pictures is used by the Dorsett Shepherd’s Bush hotel to serve hotel breakfasts. Our experience of breakfast was so poor (see my Doresett Hotel review) that we did not dare try any other meal service there and ate elsewhere each evening. Beware.

Goldmine Restaurant in Bayswater, London offers delicious and reasonably priced food. The service has always been excellent and I have been a loyal customer for a long time. I always make sure to visit at least once when I am in London. The roast duck, which is Irish bred, is large, meaty, and a definite must-try. We decided to try this restaurant as they had a 'deal ' of 50% off dishes on the a la carte menu. The food was interesting and very good and the service attentive however we were the only people in the restaurant! It was a Monday evening but I suspect it is rarely full. It was good value with the deal otherwise would have been on the pricey side. They need to improve the atmosphere, it is a classic hotel restaurant, ideally it should have a door opening directly onto the street and be more inviting more casual rather than fine dining would probably be a winner.

I was staying overnight at the Dorsett Shepherds Bush hotel and after having a long day of meetings and travelling I did not fancy wandering into Westfield. So I decided to utilise Pictures the restaurant based within the hotel. I was not disappointed. Manuel the host was really good friendly, attentive but not overbearing. I decided on the special set menu, which proved excellent value for money and everything was beautifully cooked and well presented. I went for the haddock followed by baked Alaska... yummy! In addition, I appreciated that as there is aircon in the restaurant, I was asked if I wanted a warmer or cooler spot to eat my meal a nice thoughtful touch that. As a single traveller...

I dined at this restaurant while staying at the Dorsett Hotel. After a tiring day, I opted to eat at the hotel restaurant instead of going to Westfield. When I arrived at 7:15pm, I was the only person there. I appreciate a quiet atmosphere when dining alone and reading a book, but the lack of background music left the restaurant feeling lacking in ambiance. It took quite some time for another patron to arrive. The menu was limited, but I chose the Suffolk Chicken as my main dish. It was decent, but I should have ordered some vegetables to add more variety to the flavors. For dessert, I tried the Baked Alaska, which was overly frozen and difficult to eat without it bouncing around the plate.... Visualizza piatti
