Pizzeria Arche - Piatti

I loved this place! The owner doesn't speak Italian very well, so you know it's not too touristy. I got the spaghetti with tomato sauce and cheese, which although sounds very simple, was delicious. I couldn't stop stuffing it in my mouth. My friend got the flour gnocchi, which were like little flour pillows, so chewy and soft.

We loved this place! Although it was siesta time, and every other shop was closing down, the family welcomed us in and served us like family. My husband had the carbonara and says it was the best pasta he's had in his entire life. My pasta was one I can't remember the name because I just pointed to one, but it was also delicious! Absolutely fantastic 4 white cheese pizza (quattro pizza al formaggio bianco) and house wine was fantastic. Being from New Jersey and eating a lot of great Italian brick oven pizza I really recommend everyone to go try the pizza at Arche. Marcello a great young waiter did an excellent job taking our orders, and helped us with recommendations. If you are looking for a nice place to enjoy in this beautiful town of Tivoli outside of Rome you must consider visiting, and dining out there. Grazie Arche.

Abbiamo trovato questo buco nel muro lungo un vicolo. che ha avuto un meraviglioso pranzo (pranzo) per €8 o €12 per Sabato (sabato) e festa (vacanza). Il cibo era delizioso con cibo appena cucinato in cucina. Le opzioni variavano da pasta, vegetariana, a piatti di carne che soddisfano qualsiasi mangiatore. I proprietari e i lavoratori erano molto dolci e gentili. Mi è piaciuto scattare foto del loro ristorante che aveva un bel patio esterno nel vicolo. Questo è stato sicuramente uno dei punti salienti del mio viaggio di 4 settimane in Italia.

What can you say about a restaurant that makes you feel at home and steers you to authentic Italian cuisine without becoming a parody? To call this a 'Pizzeria is to lose something in the American translation. It is NOT your typical Roman pizzeria, and it is certainly not your Orange, New Jersey one either. The real restaurant in below ground level, so don 't be fooled by the outdoor seating. You want to go downstairs where the action is. Marcello was our waiter. A young man with an enormous knowledge of the the menu and a smile to match. He is the owner 's 16 year old son and a delight. Home recipes (tripe, boar, etc. make the sauces jump out at you.
