"We had planned to go to Plumbohms for a while, as it looked so warm and welcoming. When we eat there tonight, we were very disappointed and let ourselves be cheated a bit. First, the restaurant was not busy yet, but it took an hour until our food arrived. During this time we heard the cooks in the kitchen that screamed like football hooligans, and at one point a waiter went in to tell them to close because the whole restaurant could hear them. When our food arrived, the Polnta Burger had no wort or dressing with salad, so basically raw chopped pieces of beet root and rocket with a very dry Polnta Burger was. The pasta in Gorgonzola and cream sauce contained little gogonzola, but another type of cheese we were told was Harz cheese, this cheese sauce was still solid and in lumps, so the sauce was more like a lumpy porridge consistency. We brought these facts to the attention of the waiter who brought us a pepper mill as dressing on the Polnta Burger with salad, and also told us that the pasta with Gorgonzola cream sauce should look clumpy, as the Harz cheese does not melt even though we were not sure why it contained Harz cheese anyway as it was listed as Gorgonzola. We sat near the kitchen every time the door had opened, we had a clear look at the staff. At one point we saw the cook who caught the waiter, and a lot stood around and made very loud conversation when we had waited for an hour to be served our food. My husband's chair was even hit by the swing door into the kitchen when the waitress marched in and out, it hit his chair with a loud bang, but there was no excuse. To summarize this experience, we felt like we were in an episode of Fawlty Towers, and I really think we would never come back here."

Nach dem Besuch des Baumwipfelpfades sind wir hier eingekehrt.... Es war sehr schön !Der Service ist sehr freundlich, das Essen modern und lecker. Wenn wir wieder in der Nähe sind, kommen wir wieder.....

We noticed the restaurant as we were walking through the town...we were attracted to the interesting decor and lighting. The menu was very eclectic and portions were more than plenty. Nice flavors, atmosphere and great wait staff.

SUPER! Wir waren mit einer Wandergruppe von 32 Teilnehmern dort und es wurde sogar extra für uns geöffnet. Alle Vorgespräche waren sehr motivierend. Das Personal ist sehr serviceorientiert und sehr freundlich. das Essen war vorzüglich und alle bekamen nahezu zeitgleich ihr Essen. Großartig!Immer wieder.

My wife and myself simply went for a coffee today. It was the Kastanien Fest in town. Sunny and lots of people. Prime restaurant situation. Sadly the waitresses were very unfriendly. They couldn't even say please or thank you. We ourselves are in the business of hospitality. It is overpriced here but at least make the service as good as the rest in town.

Das Restaurant war an einem Samstagabend gut gefüllt. Das Ambiente ist ansprechend. Gut gefallen mir die Spiegel an den Wänden, so dass derjenige, der zur Wand sitzt auch sieht, was im Lokal passiert. Der Service war freundlich, schnell und zuvorkommend. Meine "Bemme" als Vorspeise war sehr gut und reichlich. Die Suppen unserer Begleitung waren hinsichtlich der Portionsgröße etwas mager. Mein Rumpsteak war sehr lecker. Uns und unserer Begleitung hat es gut gefallen. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

Hier ist für jede Gelegenheit ein Ort zum Verweilen, wo ein Anlass wie der Geburtstag meiner lieben Frau genau das richtige.Gesunde Speisen die sehr gut zubereitet wurden sind nicht nur für den guten Geschmack sondern auch für die Sinne.Älter werden ist zwar nicht für Feiglinge aber im Plumbohms ist auch dieses einfacher zu gestalten.Wer Bad Harzburg nicht kennt sollte im Plumbohms Übernachten und zwar auf dem Burgberg, dieses ist das zweite dazugehörige Haus, und dem Morgen auf dem Berge beginnen.Dies ist ein unvergessliches Erlebnis.

Waren für ein verlängertes Wochenende in Bad Harzburg. Waren uns erst nicht sicher, ob wir mit unseren beiden Kindern (3 und 5) in dieses schicke, moderne Restaurant gehen sollten. Die Zweifel waren unangebracht. Alle im Restaurant waren sehr kinderfreundlich. Der Koch hat immer zurück gewunken (wer kleine Kinder hat, weiß wie ausdauernd dies sein kann), die Bedienung war unaufdringlich und hat unserer Tochter auch ganz selbstverständlich ein drittes Schälchen Ketchup zu den Pommes gebracht. Auch störte es nicht, dass unsere Kinder die Bauklötze aus dem vorhandenen Regal mit Spielzeug und Büchern um den Tisch verteilten. Fühlten uns alle vier sehr wohl und willkommen.
