"This might be longer than our normal report. Arrived for late-ish Sunday lunch between two events. Car park full but got a space. restaurant full, but got a table. Speaks for itself to be so busy. Oh dear, the cold buffet table might be empty. Not at all, constantly replenished. Well done. Main courses well prepared and presented; very enjoyable half duck breast and an andouillette as part of the 15 €uro special. Excellent glass of wine as we were driving! Most notable was the wonderful staff. All seemed to be multi-tasking switching from supervision, to clearing tables to serving drinks. Another well done. Our super wee waitress was cheery and most efficient. When I asked Astrid to explain her in training on her name badge she explained she had only started the previous day! Quite, quite amazing level of proficiency, also considering how busy they were. Third well done and we will certainly be back. Thank you."

I didn't know. To redo it, very pleasant and we don't have the servers on the back. And it's cheaper than Buffalo's barbecue and we eat more.

Very well received by the restaurant manager. Excellent waves, impeccable service. Ns do not understand unfavourable opinions and yet we are demanding on the quality of meat. We'll be back.

the concept of the red pepper restaurant is to turn around the meat, and also offer a very good entrance buffet, as well as good desserts. eat with red peppers, six ensure a friendly and gourmet moment.

Very happy during our last passage years ago, we found that the sign has much less choice, especially in fish dishes.Swine sponges mustard sauce too much, it's rare to reproach that the parts are too generous, but large slices, it's too much. The entrance/crudity buffet is reduced, but a good fraicher. Prices have also increased slightly.

Not felt welcome. wrong drink arrived, waitress obviously not listening. Husband ordered half a duck breast which is served with. orange sauce, green. beans and dauphinois potatoes. He asked if he.could have frites instead of the dauphinois potatoes. When the meal came it was JUST half the duck breast and frites! I called one of the waiting staff over to explain....he went off and brought the orange sauce but. no green beans....disgusted...we couldn't get out of there quick enough....the frites were awful too! Won't be going back and would not recommend it.

Rather positive feedback on the Poivre Rouge in Champniers. The pluses: The food tastes good, and looks prepared with good quality ingredients. There is a room especially for the children to have fun, while waiting for the food. A good way for the parents to breathe as well! The children menu is great. In fact, the portion is just as big as the adult's one: better value for money The view is not bad at all, as we are on top of the hill. Ask for a room on the back, next to the window if this is important to you. The minuses: The choice is limited. I wish there was a bit more alternatives to beef. By contrary to the main meals, the buffet did not taste that great: too much sauce and not enough...

"I have been there for several months now and with the intention of continuing this way, I think it is time to give this restaurant the note it deserves. Summary in one sentence: It's the best kebab in Angouleme, by far. Now, why does he deserve this title? It's quite simple, it combines everything we expect from a restaurant (rapid or not) worthy of this name, and it's usually the recipe for success in restoration. At first, and this is the basis, the products offered. It is simply excellent, full of flavors, made with fresh and cooked products with passion. The quality feels, and it's not because we're proposing Low-cost that we have to lessen this aspect. The map is generous, but not so vast that reading it and choosing becomes a limestone. Kebabs, plates, salads, everything is there, with a typical Indian touch of the house. Then the place. In these days, impossible to enjoy the room, which remains simple and warm, but eating there, in a far-away future, will undoubtedly be very pleasant. In addition, the restaurant is perfectly located: 100 metres from the train station, guests can enjoy it, and 500m from the city centre, for all others. I mean, and that's what really makes the difference, owners. They're simply adorable. They are polite, smiling (yes, it is seen under the mask), helpful, courteous, funny and generally welcoming. This really fails many of the competing signs (especially one that starts with i and ends not stanbul), which in general does not make you want to come back. I therefore warmly recommend this establishment which, more importantly, deserves to offer all this at a friend's price (specified payment only, it is to be taken into account to avoid surprise). In short, it's perfect, and I can't wait to go back."

"Okay, I'm changing the review I made 4 months ago because I'm deeply disappointed! I gave it 4/5 but today it's well worth a 2/5. Well, I had already ordered extra fries in addition to my salad which was forgotten the first time. I call them back, but still nothing. I had to call him a second time, I might as well tell you that I had already finished my salad when I got the fries... So I give 3 for the service, just because they are not bad, but given the errors, it would deserve a 2. Then, this summer, many more vegetarian choices and above all, they were able to adapt: if I chose a burger and asked to replace the beef steak with a potato pancake , it was done, but not anymore, they have refused, saying that it was a chain and that they were restricted by management. And indeed, that's the whole problem with the chains, that's why I'm definitely going to stop going there. Because they are no longer cooks, but people who do a little and above all reheat. A real cook knows how to adapt, knows how to innovate, knows how to do something else if the customer is allergic, vegetarian or has dietary restrictions (health problem, etc. , etc. I have several good examples of restaurants that have real cooks and adapt. As in Vouharte for example, they manage to make superb, delicious vegetarian dishes even though they do not normally offer any on the menu. That's what cooking is all about: knowing how to adapt and not always doing the same thing. I find it a shame not to try to do better. To start from the principle that... as long as there are customers, there is no need to improve because things are going... that's not what cooking, passion, the taste of things are. The cuisine is ordinary and without adaptation, but is not bad either, that's why I rate it 2 and not 1. The atmosphere at the moment, it hasn't changed, it's still the same, a lot of noise , the headache can quickly arrive, I would advise installing acoustic panels to improve this. If there isn't one, it's not for financial reasons given what they put into the decoration (just in case, it's a choice . And what's more, it's still expensive, there for once, with all the negative points the quality/price ratio is not there! The remaining positive point, I would say, is the kindness of certain servers."
