"Staying almost next door, at Becker's hotel, we decided to treat ourselves to a pizza after a long drive. Very busy on a Tuesday evening (during holidays). Simple, classic bruschetta and pizzas hit the spot. Huge portions go when very hungry, or order a...small pizza! Pizza base was one of the best I've had in a while, being wafer-thin and crisp from a wood-fired oven. Prices very reasonable; most pizzas were around 9-10 EUR. Other classic Italian dishes being served to nearby tables looked good. Nice modern décor. Got by with basic German, but waitress spoke good English, and waiters were clearly Italian and spoke some French. Very pleased we wandered in on a whim."

this restaurant has exceeded all my expectations. all courses were excellent; the pizza crusts were very thin and crispy (as they should be) carpaccio was wonderful and desserts wonderful! all big parts too! service was very good, great atmosphere and cheap. good that you are here!

the place looks good from the outside, and they have a large parking space for their car next to it. we took pizza, and the little one is already very big! these pizzas were great and we also had the opportunity to take the rest home. It...was as great as the day before. very good service and very nice atmosphere.

Ponticello is always our go to Italian restaurant when we visit Trier. We started coming to Ponticello in 2018 and enjoy the food, ambience, and staff. Ponticello is proudly family owned and the is reflected in food quality and service. Indoor or outdoor seating offers an intimate dining experience with many meal options. The pizza is traditional Italian style with some of the ingredients imported from Italy. It never seems to be crowded when we go and always enjoy a nice quiet dinner. Take out is also available if you want to bring Italy home!

Off the beaten track around the corner from the amphitheater, but well placed if you are staying at some of the lodgings on this nice street. Bus service and car parking, but its also a nice walk from the downtown with footpath most of the...way. This full-service Italian restaurant has appetizers and pizza, but pastas, steaks, and specialties that will keep most folks happy. The salads were quite good as well. And though resiling flows like water in Trier, the Pinot grigio I had complemented the Parpadelle Caprese, Napoli Spaghetti, and the salad perfectly. Great flavors, large portions, and something for every taste.
