Essen war nicht gut. 10 Minuten auf die Getränke gewartet obwohl nichts los War. Cocktails waren schlecht Man sollte sich lieber auf eine Sache konzentrieren und die richtig machen für uns war das der letzte Besuch

It's a nice, no thrills Italian restaurant. I liked the mushroom pasta and the pizza four seasons with it's chewy dough. Service is attentive and fast and the beauty of the interior lies in the eyes of the visitor. Anyway a solid dinner option for Denzlingen.

"Beautifully decorated in a country house style at the eastern edge of the city, bright colors, lovingly covered tables you can feel at the Denzlinger Ochsen. "Wir waren am 1. Weihnachtstag zu viert am Mittag im Kreuz. Wir haben jeweils 2 x das Badische und 2 x das Weihnachtsmenü bestellt. Die Vorspeise des Weihnachtsmenüs war insgesamt sehr gut. Etwas abgefallen ist die Terrine, die sehr fest und im Vergleich weniger aromatisch als das tolle Parfait war. Auch die Hummersuppe mit Garnelen war sehr gut. Dagegen jedoch fielen die Hauptgänge beider Menüs deutlich ab. Der Kartoffelbrei war wohl mit festkochenden Kartoffeln gemacht und etwas stückig und nicht sahnig-cremig wie es meiner Ansicht nach sein sollte. Das Entenbrustfleisch war trocken und die Keule dazu noch zäh. Auch die Rehmedaillons waren trocken und nicht rosa, wie sie sein sollten. Dies ist wohl der hohen Gästezahl geschuldet, wodurch in der Küche offensichtich vieles schon vorgerichtet und warm gehalten wurde. Anders kann ich mir den Fleischzustand nicht erklären. Daneben hatte leider auch die Sosse zu Ente wenig Ente gesehen und schmeckte dünn, mehr nach Gemüsebrühe mit Hefeextrakt. Das Dessert war dann wieder sehr gut (das nimmt ein Vorrichten auch nicht so übel, wie Fleisch). Ich habe der Bedienung auch entsprechende Rückmeldung gegeben und man hat dies professionell behandelt und uns eine Runde Kaffee spendiert. Ich denke, die Küche kann es im Prinzip besser, nur nicht an solchen Feiertagen. Man sollte also besser an ruhigeren Tagen dort Essen gehen."
