I went to this restaurant for a friend's birthday and had some food. It was absolutely amazing, big shoutout to all the staff for their hard work during this difficult time. I would give it a 10/10 every day of the week!

The Sunday roast at this restaurant is amazing, and the beer garden is beautiful and perfect for bringing your dog. The staff, especially Seb and the crew, are friendly and helpful - just how a pub should be. Will definitely be back!

Warm welcome, pleasant table in quiet corner. Food came promptly piping hot. We chose whitebait to share as a starter plenty for 2, very tasty. Then I had the steak pie, and my wife had scampi, both served with lots of very nice chips. Good beer, nice wine. Then we walked home. Very pleased, we'll be back. The curry night looks interesting...

I drove up from Manchester for a couple of days and went in the Prince of Wales for a meal, we had a beautiful mixed grill, seb the owner (who is very young) made us feel really welcome and looked after us, he is chatty, friendly and above all he has the best customer service ever, all his customers comes first everytime, definitely recommend this pub and I will be back in the summer, well done seb and teamsee you soon Ann and geoff Visualizza piatti

Upon entering the pub, I was warmly greeted by a friendly bartender who made me feel welcome, even though it was my first visit. It made me appreciate the challenges of being a bartender, always having to be courteous and polite. I ordered the scampi and chips, which was cooked perfectly. While the food was good, I wished there was a selection of sandwiches and baked potatoes on the menu for those times when I didn't feel like having a full meal. Overall, I would recommend The Prince of Wales for its inviting ambiance and friendly staff.

Our local pub which has just re-opened after a period of closure. Having spoken to the new landlord, and been assured that all the food was freshly and locally sourced, my wife and I booked for Sunday lunch. The food was plentiful, in face too much on one plate. The Beef, although well cooked, was the cheapest cut of Brisket. The roast potato's were from a catering supplier and had been cooked in a deep fat fryer, and were not cooked properly, hard in the middle. The yorkshire puddings were likewise supplied by a catering supplier. There was a mixture of veg of cabbage and leeks, all mixed together so you could not see what you were eating, supplemented by parsnips, sugar snap peas and mash.

We booked a table for sat night for 4 couples .We last visited the Prince 2 years ago and had the most awful meal after various stand in landlords had run the place into the ground we vowed never to return.I am glad we did return as the transformation is great lovely friendly landlord and land lady and we were looked after all evening by Steve what a great people person.We even met the chef and complimented him on the food served.The food was very tasty and presented nice and hot ,steaks ,gammon,chicken various dishes and all clean plates at the end.One of our party mentioned that it was the nicest meal he had ever had at the Prince .The new carpet and re decoration makes for a very warm and...
