"Such a lovely place to eat! We came here twice recently whilst away visiting the Cotswolds. Firstly, we went on Wednesday burger night and it was amazing. Then we went again on Friday for pizza night. All the food is fresh and homemade. The burgers were huge and quality meat, and the pizzas were stone baked. The Royal was also really clean and safe in terms of covid 19. Would highly recommend this place!"

"I had been in this pub for a while, but my family and I were on the way from cheltenham to Westonbirt at 17 o'clock and called for an early dinner. all four of us said that the meal was faultless, we enjoyed all three courses and cannot praise this place enough. such a great atmosphere, cordial greeting from the incredibly fabulous staff and a seat directly at the log tariff. what more can they demand. it is easy to find, beautiful location and has plenty of parking right next to the pub. in summer there is a large garden back. in februar this is the place to eat when they go to visit the colesbourne snowdrop gardens that are right in front of the house and not to miss. the menu at the colesbourne inn is huge and offers for everyone something wonderful, regardless of their taste or nutrition to choose. my calamari ‘Bar Bite’ size starter was superb and definitiw a greater part than we expected. the other appetizers, a black bell and black pudding with fried egg was superb as well as the bread selection we also ordered. mostly fish Pie....only full of a lot of different fish and whistle fish. my son had the steak and ale pier he claimed he was the best he had eaten in a very long time. two of us had the nut roast dinner.... I want my Christmas dinner to be as good as that. desserts of fruit crumbs and custard finished the meal with the obligatory glass or two of fizz. for each device in these times to offer this incredible selection of oriented, which is an absolute credit for them by the most kind of employees ever and the very high standards they did. highly recommended at any level possible. well made the colesbourne inn"

"We did a walk on the nearby hills overlooking Cheltenham, Pub is 3 minutes drive from the Walks Park. This Pub looks fairly ordinary from the outside but is interesting inside with wood panelling and comfortable furniture. Food wise the four of us thoroughly enjoyed the wide ranging menu. A smaller lunchtime and sandwich menu was also available. My gammon etc was excellent as were the ham and chips and beef salad for the others. The ladies in the bar and waiting on us were really friendly and efficient and took a real shine to our dog. Pleasant beer garden is available if the weather is suitable."

"Fantabulous , will definitely be back again expect for the bad experience from one specific person who was serving us felt he was racially motivated so wasn’t happy with his service felt intimidated. Anyways apart from this unpleasant experience of this person who was serving us rest of it was outstanding. We were group of 5 and was initially not confident this place will be good based on the fact that this is away from city centre and initially service but all that changed as soon as food came in and the ambience and other people who were also serving us who made the experience really pleasant. The location, ambience , service , quality , quantity and also the fact that they cater to our spice levels all of it I would rate this place 6 out of 5. Thanks for the fantabulous food and service , will be back again and highly recommended."

"Our thanks to all the staff who saved our family celebration at the weekend. Due to my mix up we were in danger of not having a birthday lunch for my dad. The wonderful staff at The Bell, pulled out all the stops and of us in with just an hours notice. Despite being told we might not be bale to have all our food choices and possibly a delayed service, this proved not be the case, and we had a great time with really good food. I cannot thank all the staff enough, the service was exceptional and the food great. This will definitely be our go to pub for family celebrations from now on. great value for money as well!!"
