"If you're not in a rush and ready to queue for a Friday or Saturday dinner...and your first choice is to have a taste of Ramen...this is the place to go to in Hamburg. The taste of the food in this cozy but crowded Japanese restaurant is by far the best and very authentic. They serve 4 types of Ramen...plain Sea Salt / Seaweed; Miso; Miso with cultured Soy Sauce and the Spicy Special Miso Ramen. For starters, one should try their assortment of Sake wine and drinks will never be complete without downing a bottle or two of Asahi beers. For appetizers, we got the all-time favorites Tonkatsu (Deep Pan Fried Pork Chops), Karaage (Garlic Fried Boneless Fried Chicken), Gyoza (Steamed-Fried Dumplings). There are of course even more dishes to choose from, none of which tastes the same as the others...uniqueness in taste is a plus ;-) and to cap our dinner off, the green tea ice (Matcha) is a must. After mentioning all the up-side of our dinner...which lasted a little over an hour. There's also a downside...it's the wait time one should never experience. This restaurant does not take any reservations at all. It's first come, first serve with a wait list to fill in. The typical wait-time is approximately 30-40 minutes on a good day.But don't let this stop you from trying out this unique taste from our Asian brothers. Hence, the reason for a 4-Dot review. Enjoy your meal!"
