"We sat outside as the waitress told us it was full inside, whilst it had been raining during the day it was clearing up and there were a few other people outside when we arrived. However as the meal progressed we had the distinct feeling...we were not welcome, not sure if it was having children they were well behaved, are not fussy eaters or that we were English all other customers were German) On more than one occasion the waiter indicated he would be coming to our table and then took an age to arrive, two of our meal plates were removed and then we waited a considerable time for the other 3 to be removed. We might have had dessert but got board waiting, in any case the food was nothing special, if anything some was overcooked."

We had an excellent meal, Mixed grill, Fish and Surf and turf. The food was fab and the staff are very nice and speak a bit of English so will help you translate the menu. Recommend the dessert menu too

We eat there as large family from almost 3 to 65 years old and everyone was happy. Good food, fast and friendly service. The kids received drawing materials to bridge the waiting time and a small pack gummibears with their kids meal. Can't think of...what could have been done better.

Came into Rheinsberg on a late evening in January, just to experience that most of the town was closed. One of the only places that were open and accepted credit cards were Ratskeller, and that was a really pleasant experience. Service spoke English and was...swift and friendly. Food was not outstanding, but good quality no fuzz grub at a reasonable price. Just what you need, when you have been on the road all day and need to eat before you crash in a hotel room.
