Visited for the first time as friends were visiting and was convenient for their mooring The was just good pub grub nothing overly impressive We booked for around 5ish and there were dishes unavailble but that may been due to a busy weekend One thing was no wine list and to be served G T in an OJ glass even though we askec for it to be changed was a no no I personally dont think its too much to ask for food to be of a top standard if the chefs are of a good experience. The event was ok the staff were nice and I did feel bit sorry for them as when we mentioned things they tried their best . Nice pub. Great location on the canal edge, great for a drink outside when the sun is out. The pub has been renovated and is really well done out inside. The food is pretty standard pub food but tasted lovely (everyone had different things and all enjoyed the meals). Good service and a reasonable price. Vegetarian options: Veggie in our group and they had a couple of options. Kid-friendliness: Lots of kids and had menus to cater for them. Parking: Good sized car park at the back belonging to the pub so free to use.
