"Alors que le restaurant était bondé le patron nous a accueilli sur notre insistance en terrasse alors que la pluie menaçait encore. Table dressée en une minute pour 6 adultes et 6 enfants. Super formule enfant, omelette aux girolles d'anthologie, service par des jeunes filles hyper efficaces pour un prix raisonnable et sans attente... bonne surprise dans un village si touristique !"

"Repas vers 21h avec menu à 21€50.Personnel très aimable et service rapide( nous étions les derniers clients).En entrée ; salade de gésiers copieuse mais gésiers peu goûteux. Belle part de foie gras: dommage qu'il était assaisonné au piment, ça enlève vraiment l'intérêt d'un bon foie gras. Le pain grillé qui accompagnait cette entrée était vraiment très dur et le pain n'était plus très vrai mais, bon, c'est la fin de la journée.Ensuite nous avions choisi tous les deux le confit de canard et ses pommes de terre à la collongeoise. Quelle déception, le canard est très dur, la viande a bien du mal à se décoller de la peau et des os. Nul effort de présentation avec la garniture, bouillie de légumes méconnaissables mélangés à quelques pommes de terre non assaisonnées.Le serveur nous explique que le confit n'est pas du confit en boite et qu'il est français. Pas super cette justification.Le dessert était bon mais rien de remarquable.Un resto qui ne présente vraiment pas une cuisine locale de qualité."

"À la réservation l'accueil téléphonique n'avait pas été très sympathique. À la lecture des avis sur TripAdvisor nous doutions un peu de l'établissement. La surprise fut d'autant plus grande. La salle de restaurant est joliment décorée et la réception,par la responsable de salle,agréable. Le menu à 26€ nous a convaincu d'avoir fait le bon choix. Foie gras mi-cuit maison copieusement servi (4 tranches avec chutney de figues) délicieux. Un filet de boeuf aux morilles à la cuisson parfaite et d'une tendreté remarquable. Grand plateau de fromages. Les desserts,cheese-cake aux noix et tarte aux fraises,ont complété le repas avec bonheur. Service souriant et professionnel."

"there is never a lack of beautiful villages to visit or to choose restaurants when they are in this part of france, so on this basis we went to turenne, one of the 150 or so “Most beautiful villages in France”. Maybe it was. the sight of the chateau with trees seem to grow out of it on the hill above the city, as we approached, or perhaps it was the atmosphere in the main square as soon as we arrived, but this had a certain "je ne sais quoi" originally I went through the village mistakenly as the road and left turn off I was actually walking out of the map and therefore not a business out of service. but my mistake was recognized and turned around found that there are many free parking spaces available. in the shadow of the castle itself we went up the pedestrian zone to the place de la halle. we decided to lunch in vicompte. most of the customers seemed to be sitting outside in the shadow of different sunshades, so we decided to sit for a few seated and sit down. the waitress brought out menus that we rejected, as we had already decided on the menu du jour. we waited for our starters in the environment. there was a relaxed peaceful atmosphere in the opposite and with the closeness of the castle one could easily imagine sitting there in days by riding down the heart of the hearts seat with its escape. the medieval daylight was interrupted by the passage of the small tourist train of turenne, who took visitors around the village. for our lunch the pâté de campagne was to begin, certainly ornate, served with rustic brot, and garnished with salate, asparagus and artichoke. the poulet estragon for pornstars was also quite platelet-shaped with white-saving gel, tomaten with a grated cheese topping and something unique, which seemed to be lyonnaise kartoffeln, but served in individual packed portions that looked like a muffin on the teller, it was so unusual that my wife commented that she would be happy to give this idea we finished with tarte normandie and this apple cake came with a Rhabarb top and was accompanied by bash cream and physalis decoration. this was extremely good value for the 15 euro cost and the presentation far and far exceeded the norm for a simple menu du jour and certainly worth going back."
