"Delicious food, always fast, always to the point. The steaks are a revelation! Even larger table groups get food at the same time (we were 14 once and it worked as usual). Staff and boss are super friendly and great for children. Especially for Christmas, the boss always tastes particularly loving. We are very happy to go here, even if the place is quite inconspicuous from the outside."

"Am letzten Sonntag waren wir mit unserer Enkelin und einem guten Freund von uns zum Gänseessen im Friedestrom. Wir hatten ein paar Tage vorher reserviert. Wir wurden nett begrüsst und zum schönsten Tisch des Restaurants geführt.Das Restaurant war für einen Sonntagabend recht gut besetzt.Der Service war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend und unsere Getränkewünsche wurden zügig in die Tat umgesetzt.Unsere 9-jährige Enkelin wählte ein Fischgericht, meine Frau die Gänsebrust und unser Freund und ich entschieden uns für die Keule, serviert mit Klößen und Rosenkohl, wobei man sich auch für Rotkohl hätte entscheiden können.Die nicht zu lange Wartezeit vertrieben wir uns mit netten Gesprächen und dem Genießen des Aperitivs. Alle Gerichte, um es vorwegzunehmen, waren super, handwerklich gut zubereitet, auch optisch toll päsentiert.Das Fleisch der Gänsegerichte war sehr zart, bei den beiden Keulen hatte man den Eindruck, das Fleisch würde von selbst vom Knochen gleiten.Auch unsere Enkelin war sehr erfreut und mampfte frohgelaut den ganzen Fischteller leer.Zum Essen wählten wir einen herrlichen Barbera aus Italien,Für unsere Enkelin und den Opa, Schreiber dieser Zeilen, gab es dann noch die berühmte "Friedestrom Dessert Kreation".Wir waren nach Abschluss des Essens gut gesättigt, extrem guter Laune und trotteten vergnügt durch den Regen die paar Meter nach Hause.Danke dem gesamten Friedestrom Team für einen wirklich gelungenen Abend.Als regelmäßige Stammgäste dieses wirklich tollen Restaurants, welches wir Gott sei Dank in Zons haben, wird unser nächster Besuch wahrscheinlich nicht lange auf sich warten lassen.bdzons"
