"My favourite for many years now: unsurpassed Wiener Schnitzelmade from proper veal, with fantastic Bratkartoffel and a fresh salad. Excellent salad with fresh Pfifferlinge, too! Good, well selected wines from the region - and all that in a lovely traditional Schwarzwaldhaus or outside in the beautiful small Biergarten surrounded by flowers. It comes with very friendly service, too. That's why we come back over and over again. Thank you!"

"The old Black Forest House is located in the district of Fischbach and is a secret tip. Here you can relax in the middle of an idyllic valley, here the fish stream flows down to the canyon lake and gentle meadow slopes. I'm checking the hotel restaurant and I can't say anything to the rooms. In the short term we decided to eat here. Rings around the canyon lake were overcrowded by the possibilities of return, and we hoped to find a place outside. Since we were not reserved before, we have a little two table with chance and luck. The big restaurant was completely reserved. Fortunately, we were there at 5 a.m. so we could eat almost alone and quietly. Most guests came at 6:00, then it became pretty narrow. Cordon Bleu and veal carvings with fresh vegetables, salad and pommes tasted very well. A tannial dish for Mr. B. and a non-alcoholic dish for me. Otherwise, meat and fish dishes are on the map. You have to spend 20 euros for a meal, but it was worth it. You can also sit in a beautiful ambience with subtle background music. When looking out the window you could see some cows that were well balanced on a mountain slope. If you don't have the AHA all the time in your head, it could be so beautiful here. So you could not enjoy the stay very much as it became quite full. But no one can, and I give 4 stars and recommend it."

"Sehr sehr gute Küche und sehr freundliche Gastgeber. Die Spareribs sind super lecker. Ich habe meine Finger fast mit gegessen Wiener Schnitzel mit Pommes oder mit Spätzle sind ebenfalls sehr gut und lecker. Ich hatte noch kurz überlegt eine Portion von den Spareribs mit zu nehmen hab es dann doch nicht gemacht was ich im Nachhinein sehr bereut habe. Aber wenn ich in der Nähe bin komme ich garantiert wieder. Die Preise finde ich fair und gut. Immerhin bekommt man sehr gutes Essen. Reservierung ist auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen. Während ich dort gegessen habe, kamen locker 7 oder 8 Personen Gruppen rein die keinen Tisch bekommen haben weil der Laden einfach schon ausgebucht war. Ich selber hatte keine Reservierung, dafür habe ich an der Theke Platz genommen was gar nicht so schlimm war, vielleicht aber auch weil ich einen sehr sympathischen Herren als Sitz nachbar hatte Ach ja, die Spareribs müssen oder sollten vorbestellt werden. Immerhin braucht gutes Essen seine Zeit Alles in allem war ich sehr zufrieden mit meinem Besuch und danke dem Haus nochmal für das gute Essen und die freundliche Bewirtung."

"as a hotel guest the a la carte 3-course menu costs 28€. as we were tired from the trip, we decided to eat in our hotel. as an appetizer we had smoked salmon (oké, nothing special) and meat with chestnut (very good). the main dish was also very nice (meat and a carving, sounds normal, but was well prepared). homemade late tent was good! also I was impressed by the noodle (which I usually abhor) the dessert was somewhat strange, we liked the honey of the cheese plate (which was rather a collection of breakfast cheese) and the sweet desert was a raw purple birne, strangely tasting mousse and normal ice. we choose 3 out of 6 very good oriented. the courts had a very good size (actually we were already full-cocked before the desert);"

"the restaurant in the curhouse consists of a spacious room and a terrace to the lake. the parking lot was made in a small garage for 3 hours free. from here a lift leads directly into the reading room of the curhouse. is then separated by a locally connected glass pane. we haven't been here for years, it was closed for a time. I have read that since the beginning of 2020 Greek pawns were there. Greek always goes, and from 17 o'clock is open, we decided to go early. we had the hope that in this big place, even without booking, as elsewhere here, a space would be free. Actually we were the first, only on the terrace sat two guests, already at the door we were caught if we had reserved. no we have not, then unfortunately not a place for us, all tables are booked, only on the terrace is still free. then we were looking for a halfway wind protected kitten, unsatisfied, as all tables were still free in the inner. shortly after, the tip came back and offered us a table in us when we were to be finished around the half seven. So we moved back. after that the service was very satisfactory. the very competent above served attentive and friendly. our food, consisting of putenschnitzel with rice and metaxasauce tasted excellent. a dish salad was in advance, and baguette was served. the menu is varied and in the frame, the environment cozy, the terrace, with good weather with sea view, almost mediteran designed, very nice. but I thought that was for those who were to make sure they are not too crowded locally. but here everyone was occupied without much distance. many guests who came without a reservation were allowed to sit in the reading room and were served there. At some point, there was no more space. we were glad that we could come back early because more and more guests pushed our table. I'm not usually like that, but it was a problem this time."
