During business trip to Cuxhaven had dinner on arrival night in this restaurant. Nice view to outside area. Very friendly staff and attentive and quality of meal was good.Although eating alone (business traveller) atmosphere in restaurant was good and nice smiling face of the waitress was enoughto have a pleasant evening.

the appetizers and desserts were in order, to the main course we ordered circus, lacquered with a teriyaki sauce and in the early roll pasty fried, with sweet and fried noodles, the whole dish tasted after ... nothing, it lacked any spices and aromas of the Asian cuisine, the sweetness was completely boiled, here it would not like to cook high

my wife with girlfriend resided in the house, in the frame of a wellness weekend.Included was a four-course menu which was on the day of the trip.The eating sounded better than what came out of the kitchen; I only report by the ladies. Micro proportions, bad to not seasoned, drinks were asked only after eating and not for food.My wife will soon go back, mainly because of the wellness offer and will then confirm this report or find improvements.

We chose this restaurant because of the asparagus specials, and we loved it. It is a bit pricey but the food was delicious and different, and they had a good choice for my non pork eating 8 year old daughter.They had the menu in English, there were lots of choices and I loved the old fashioned decor and serving wine in individual carafes. The service was fabulous - a free taster dish of lamb and bread, meals delivered with cloches, no waiting or hurrying us. It was a lovely experience and I would recommend trying if you wanted a special evening.

the sea cafe is located - in contrast to the same restaurant in the 1st floor of the seahotel duhnen and has already a clear advantage: the view of the lake (or the elbmündung) is grandios! with it the best point of cafes but also already mentioned...The coffee was still in order (but may be hotter) and the milk foam on cappuccino and latte macchiato had been too tight. the cake tasted was good (lübecker nusstorte), but the pieces cut so narrow that you can get in other cafes "2 for 1" (even if you look at the price).
