Large and empty cold. Staff have no people skills. They weren't happy we only wanted a drink. It's a long walk to get there and not worth the bother.

Six of us had sandwiches of varying fillings and we shared some chips (homemade-delicious). We polished everything off and everyone was happy. Would recommend definitely.

After a long climb to Yat Rock, we stumbled upon this restaurant just in time for a late lunch before the kitchen closed. Despite some challenges, like a lack of water, the staff managed to provide a good dining experience.

I visited this restaurant with my friends in April 2014. I ordered the beef stroganoff, which was nothing special and way too expensive. The bill came to £80 for one main course dinner for three people and drinks (1 pint and 2 glasses of red wine).

We had to wait a long time for three awful meals that were way too expensive. It wasn't a good idea to pay upfront. Other customers were also unhappy about the long wait, and the entrance was unsafe with workmen fixing the deck without barriers. We would never go back to this restaurant.

I came here with my wife and family for a Sunday roast, last weekend. The roast lamb I had was excellent, but the food took almost an hour to get to us and pudding almost half an hour. I was a little disappointed with it, as all of us enjoyed our roast and puddings but the service really let them down. There didn't seem to be more than 20 people in the restaurant and there were no apologies for the time it took. I really hope this was a one off and the service does not let the good food coming from the kitchen in the future.

We stopped there to eat on Wednesday, July 29, 2015. Unfortunately, we had to wait half an hour for our food to get there after ordering. The three meals were shrimp and fries, peas and green salad, cod and chips, peas and salads and burgers and chips and green salad. We were served warm luke fries style with fish meals, with hidden peas and a few green leaves! The order hamburger arrived later, practically with chips, seemed to be Mass of the Gallo together, not even properly formed and there was no salad. I ordered the guy who served for the salad and I didn't know there was supposed to be any salads. The cod in pasta was mostly shaken and the Scampi seemed to be a frozen package.

On vacation we call for a meal at the bar at night, and I was wondering if this establishment would consider reimbursing the parking charge for its guests. Having had no fish during our holidays I asked for cod, it was raw to the point of being Raw. I returned to the sad bar and asked the server to come and remove with the slightest fuss. At that time I had lost my appetite and was happy to eat the fries, I didn't want a substitution or a fuss. without our knowledge for me, the director had been called, apparently had taken to the kitchen and recorded the temperature and was cooked. Came here for lunch with my husband and two children. Ordered drinks from the bar, barmaid not very friendly. Had to ask for ice for my drink. Ordered burgers for adults and two meals from childrens menu, one of which was penne pasta. We were given fettuccine instead. This may sound like an unreasonable complaint but we ordered penne because our one year old is keen on feeding himself at the moment and would have been able to do so. If it had been explained to us that the meal served was going to be different to the one we had ordered, we could have changed it.
